Knibb off the front like that is insane, the chase group is so far behind.

End of lap 2 now T. Knibb is 50 seconds up on the group. Only 6 laps to go.

Seems like the chase pack has backed it way off

If so, it would appear that they're now thinking they're racing for second.

We'll see, but we're looking at a Division 1 level cross country runner. Yes, an Ivy League one, but still. She could run off the front and still end up putting time into this field.

Wow, that's crazy. I can't watch, is she getting some moto help or is she really pulling away from those strong riders?!?!

Not one bit. It's the best I've ever seen the photo motos do for either the leader or chasers. Well done photo motos!

Now up 2:32 with one lap to go.

It truly is an amazing performance. All those workhorses in the chase pack and she just rode away and kept increasing the gap.

I say yes. Duffy can't be at her Olympic fitness and only needs 8th today to win the series. GTB not here. I don't see anybody else here running her down with that gap.

Her confidence at this point has to be off the charts. Bit of a shame she was on the wrong side of the pontoon in Tokyo.

I raced Roth a few years ago and the Germans folks on course have this saying for great job! Looking strong! Etc….

“Super classy!”

I think that fits here,

Can we talk about the branding failure that the ITU executed with the non-descript paperweight trophies in their re-branding from WTS to WTCS? Does not scream "World Champion."
