I think the biggest thing from the Insta story is that there are TWO bikes and it says P-SERIES - not just P5.

A P3 disc would change the game I think.

but a [hypothetical] p3x is LESS dentisty than a p5x. you're just upset that your aero test might actually be 5 generations old at this point

If you look at TriathleteMag's before last IG story, one of the riders is clearly on a beam bike. So unless they're riding P5x's at a launch event for another bike, a P3x is part of the launch.

Today, at Paris Tri Show, a reseller told me : "launch on the 12th march, that's official"

I told him : "Hmmm, already get several official dates in the past, no ?"

My take : it is going to be launch soon. Some day. In a near future.

I love this forum and thread and if you think about it all Cervelo needs is this thread. They're a niche product and don't need to pay all kinds of money to hype it up. Anyone who is interested in this bike follows this thread. And the pros clearly love Cervelo so all is well. Actually I think it's us that create the perception of terrible rollout strategy when in fact they'll roll it out when they're ready and anyone who knows anything about triathlon (as a majority) will eat it up and ride these in large numbers just like they do every year in Ironman.

All that said and the anticipation is killing me!

extensions on that frameset are a big fail. Also not a fan of the low mounted behind the saddle bottle thing.

5000$ is a better deal than 5500€

They also have the Ultegra Di2 one in green on the same website. Looks good but the grander colour scheme is much nicer

What's wrong with the extensions? Looks like 30˚ J-bend extension, which is a pretty good option for most fits.

it wouldn't fit "most" fits, it will only fit one fit.

This would be better. It's cuttable and more versatile. Of course the World Tour guys get them.

Well hopefully there will be extension options as add on like with S5 disc and stem / bar adjustment pieces (spacer etc)
