I agree - but it will be worth it to me just to dive into etube a little more and probably learn something along the way. I rode with the "normal" cage back on yesterday and shifting is not where it should be. I bet there's a setting in there that's wrong for my set up. Perhaps cassette size. I have an ew-wu111 on another bike I'm going to plug in and get synced with my phone to see what's up.

Looks good đź‘Ť

Is there a “packing list” of what people fit in the rear storage? As in, what do you put in there, and how do you fit it all??? A tube, CO2, inflater, levers, crack-pipe...doesn’t seem like there’s enough room for it all unless I’m doing it wrong (completely possible).

i repacked mine before my last race earlier this month and was able to fit all of that plus a TINY allen wrench for the brake calipers (open them up to get the wheel off if need be).

you just have to make the best use of every "nook and cranny" of the box.

Size large is easier - however you can remove the cross plastic pieces in the lid so you can fit more in all size rear storage.

I fit the tubes in loose - just lef them fall in and push them down to fill the area in the bottom. I also cut my tire levers a little shorter that they usually come. CO-2 also come in different sizes - the small ones fit better.

2 - tubes
1 - CO2 filler (small one)
2 - tube extenders 75 mm
1 - very small multi-tool
2 - CO2 (small ones)
2 - patches (self adhesive)

Don't forget to put a little RTV (black gasket maker) on the lid so it does not pop off over rough roads. I also use it on the front brake cover.

ill be happy to, if you can wait a week when i have access to my bike again.

you can just do what i did... take everything out of the box and make sure every square inch of the box has something in it. i had to play around with it for about 20 minutes but it turned into a game of tetris. also make sure your tube is wrapped up as tight as possible.

You can fit the extra CO2 up inside the lid if you snap out the plastic cross fins. I will put a video up on our Facebook page.

Do you keep the tubes rolled up and stuff them in? Or do you unravel them and press them down into the bottom?

I unroll them and push them down. Mostly because they are a bit wide to push in while rolled up.

as another option, dan do you think these bars would fit our bikes?

https://forum.slowtwitch.com/.../?page=unread#unread

the aero bars... not the basebar setup.

Apologies if this has been asked before but I have the dual sided pioneer power meter and have power on R side, cadence on L side. I want dual power. Couldn't understand anything on the pioneer website.

Anybody have a "dual sided pioneer powermeter for dummies" version? Thanks :)

I got some Profile Design Ergo cups and pads. They fit as far as the hole spacing goes, and they are (kinda) direct bolt on. One issue is that PD uses m6 bolts and the tactical uses m5. You can get them in no problem, but the heads are the type that recess so the sides are angled. With the smaller bolts, the contact area is concentrated and they start to dig into the cups. So they can't be tightened enough to prevent slight slipping from side to side. To resolve this, I picked up some M6 bolts and tapped the threaded inserts to M6 thread. This works perfectly. Once installed, the cups feel great to me. I am a bigger guy especially amongst all the 150 pounders in tri, and the cups fit my forearms great. I'm 6'3" and 190 lbs for reference.

I just got an fc35. It rattles like crazy when I ride. Can someone give a deep dive in setting it up with the tactical so that it doesn't rattle? It doesn't feel sturdy and rattles up against the front of the basebar.

I used a zip tie instead of the red attachment because when pushing the hydration up against the basebar, I wasn't able to tie the attachment around. Has anyone hacked a solution that pins the fc35 up against the basebar?

see that rear "storage" area of the fc35, with the rubber bands over it? someone very early on when the bike was first released drilled a hole in the diamond shaped base bar cover and put a screw/nut there to hold it down tight.

Ah interesting. Seems silly to drill a hole into the $5000 bike to fix the $70 water bottle holder

I'm not sure if you have tried it - there is an extension that comes with the PD kit. It allows you to widen the brackets on the system but moreover allows you to lower the unit. Jim Manton (ERO Sports) has some great data on the fastest way to mount that specific system. The extension allow it to mount low (faster) by flipping the mounting bracket up-side-down. The small rods that hold the system together can be tightened with an Allen wrench. That may help stabilize things and keep it from rattling. Many also run that system without the rear gel store.

Just went to place an order for an Ultra Optimized Chain and could not find the discount code box. Does anybody know where the discount code box is found, or are the Ultra Optimized Chains no longer available on discount?
