Anyone using any other aero extensions? I'm looking for something with more bend and longer. Does anything else out there fit?

We sell an adaptor that works with the bar and spacers so you can use any round bar extensions on the market. Our tilt kit will not work with that adaptor.

Super close to pulling the trigger on the Premier. I’d love to hear some feedback from owners. If you have something to say, good or bad, please feel free to private message me.

I believe there is another thread on the forum specifically listed as “satisfaction Premier” or something to that affect.

Damon, thanks. I’ve read through it, just thought I would ask owners directly, it’s also why I asked if they had anything to say to just private message me. I’m not trying to clog up the post.
Dan, I’ll search for that, I didn’t see anything else when I searched.

What I don’t like is the bike case and the new hydration thing which I didn’t get. Otherwise the bike is fast and super adjustable and Dan’s customer service is second to none.

Thank you.
I don't have a production date on the case but I will be putting the hydration set on a sale for Black Friday. :-)
The new bike purchases have the hydration included.

What's wrong w/ the bike case? I'm using it for the first time next month for IMCZ. Is there a better alternative?

I will repeat myself with this because it’s worth repeating.
Having the ability to actually call the man that designed the bike and owns the company on the phone with tech questions is unreal. You can’t get that with any other brand.

So the bike is great in every way with no compromises.
It is fast, it has a wide fit range, it’s easily adjustable, it looks great. Comes with its own disc! Nobody else can say that. There is only 1 thing to do when you get it other than change the seat to what you prefer and attach cages and dial in your fit coordinates. That would be to change the tube to a latex. Bike should come with it installed.
I don’t think the same level of attention and thought has been placed on the case and front hydration system. The case is just outdated. When it was designed, the airline rules were more strict. But in a nutshell, I have to take off the extensions, the seat, and the draft box. It’s ok but not the same level of no compromise design the bike is. I just want to take off the wheel and put it in the case. That’s it!
The front hydration, I have to figure out a Garmin Mount. It adds complexity that I don’t want to go through. I think there was a missed opportunity to take something very good and make it a wow like the bike.

Happy owner here. Its a great bike. Especially if you like long and low. Made well and looks very nice with all its parts attached. My only advice (which I added on the other thread) is to take the whole thing to a shop when you get it and have them put it together. You can probably do it, but why go through the trouble. You can also get fitted when its put together. I think one thing that will become a bigger critique as time goes on are the brakes. They are adequate, but with all the bike brands leaning on disc brakes, this has created a little disc brake envy for me. Still the positives outweigh any disc envy. I also have the case and have taken four flights with it and its worked like a charm. If you plan to travel its a must have. Built like a tank and after a few dry runs of packing and unpacking its pretty easy.
Message me if you have any specific questions.

any chance you're ever selling framesets? Thx
Re: Premier Tactical [thugbuster]

How do you secure the bike in the case? I know there is a strap with a buckle to hold the frame in place. The YouTube video looked like there were other lashings to secure the extensions and seat post in place. But I don’t have those with my case.

I think we have one size small "frame set" in stock. We had complete inventory for a while but most athletes ended up purchasing the complete bike.

There are three straps with fasteners inside the case.
Near front bar, seat tube and BB. The strap the extensions back on the top tube.

I have the XS tactical. Great fit and fast (was on Trek SC sz small 9 series prior). The case for me is great and easy to use; at least compared to breaking down the Trek SC!) and I travel a lot. Wheels are solid and come in 650c.
As everyone has said, the bike is awesome and well thought out. I’d totally buy again!
Only complaints would be:
1) XS doesn’t have draft box
2) InfoCrank is great but very restrictive when it comes time to replace chainrings (seems like I must purchase from company only due to the cutout)
3) would’ve been awesome if it was mono-pedestal
4) extensions are great but the system isn’t easy to find interchangeable brands to swap extensions
5) tilt is limited
6) comes with blah saddle and armcups
7) hydration system could’ve been better designed
Sounds like a lot, but really overall a great bike.
Plus Dan’s customer service is top notch.
Maybe future versions will correct these shortfalls.

Thanks for your review.
The XS is interesting and was challenging on a few items. To do it right we had to open new molds on the bike but also on all the wheel choices. There just are not many good 650c wheel available so I decided to fixed that issue.
1. Infocrank was the only dual crank based power meter that had 155 crank arms. They use the Praxis rings so you can swap or replace any size from them. It was really the only choice we could find to get the arm lengths that make for a good fit. Maybe others will be available in the future. I just could not justify putting a 165 on an XS.
2. We tried to make a rear storage for the XS but the smaller frame made the rear storage so small it was unusable - I wish we could have worked something out but just ran out of area. To help off-set a space for tubes, co2 and air filler we added the bento box option with integrated tire levers to the hydration.
3. We don't list the part on our website but we do have an adaptor so you can use any round extension bar option (for any size Tactical) on the market.
4. The elbow cups are a bit small for anything longer than an Olympic. I use the 51 Speedshop or the Profile Design - 35 model myself for long course.
5. We don't expect many athletes to use the saddle so we don't put a lot of money in that item. I agree it's not to comfortable for many athletes.
On the hydration the concern was volume and aerodynamics. There were some tradeoffs but the bike is faster with the hydration installed. Its interesting that another bike company (athlete interview at Kona) has had some custom parts made to fill in the area between his extension because THEY found out it was more aero. :-) 6:05 on the video.

Hi Dan!
Thanks for the response! I totally understand the challenges. The criticism was just based upon “ideal” setups! Wouldn’t be deal breakers!!
For the chainrings, will all Praxis chainrings fit? I think there’s a cutout on the outer large ring itself to “fit” the crank itself. I’ll double check.
And yes, I love the hydration setup! Just wish I could clean it more easily!!
Thanks for the fast response and another example of how dedicated you are to the bike and us!!
Cheers

Another option for cranks is Cobb cranks with pedal based power meters.
I currently have a 145mm compact crank on my medium sized Tactical with P1 power meter.
