I think a lot of people miss that molds don’t last forever. If you have to cut new $50,000 molds (x5 for sizes so $250,000) you may as well put some R&D into developing a new bike as well.

Does it really cost $50,000 to make a mold?!

Since they told all retailers in Europe that today would be the day after they postponed their Kona launch already.
If they are really not launching the bike today than Cervelo can officially claim the title "Worst Company in Marketing".
I was riding my P3 for a very long time but since they disappointed my personal expectations with the P5X and they still didn´t manage to launch any other cool bike I had to make my decision and went for the Shiv Disc.
But also for the Shiv it was bizarre, that they didn´t announce the new bike like a month before the launch. IMO only the Scott Plasma was launched properly (from a marketing POV). Cervelo tried to do it as well with their "150(?) Days" campaign but we all know how that ended up.

I am still thinking that they will launch the P5 Disc today but lets see.
(Maybe they´ll launch it tmr together with this Sanders guy on it.)
