Thoughts to be dead wrong about:

The gravel will be faster (less slippery) than later in the year. It'll be packed a bit from the rain. Winter gravel, as it were versus the slippery dusty stuff. I don't see it as a mudder's race. It'll be cold/cool and clear and I think the guys less comfy on gravbel will do better with it.
Wellens is always a McFave of mine, but will he be too aggressive and fade in SIena? GvA should be right there as well, but I don't think he's a gravel fan. Still he's very cagey and is going very well and it is not too hilly for his "older" legs.
