Wow,
This thread as gone SOFT.....

Waah, I got in an accident and sprained my neck. Can't swim or ride aero for a month now!!!! And no chance of getting compensation for the excruciating work required to loose those extra 15 lbs again..... Waah

About 4 miles into my interval run my stomach started gurgling and I knew I had a problem. A mile later no denying that I had to take a major dump and no facility in the vicinity. Dropped the pace down into Zone 5 heading heading back south towards home base. I was flying.... My cheeks could not hold the pressure. Still at least 5 minutes out but only false hope. I was like Kitt with Knight Rider scanning for bushes....I leap into the adjacent woods and drop my shorts, then wiped my ass with one of my running socks.

I'm on month 8 of a ligament tear that isn't healing. Can't run, can only do light, short spins on the bike and can't kick too hard in the water. And my rotator cuff tendinitis is coming back so can't do too much pull in the water either. I've pretty much quit caring about getting back to running and would just like to walk without pain. I'm terrified of surgery (so many things that could just eff things up more) but it's looking more and more like the only option.

WAAAAAHHHH!

Surprised this thread has been dead for so long. Well let me start it back up...

Buy bike with all the money I don't have**. One week later, go to shop to pick up new bike. 30 min later, get bike it home without incident. Immediately find this. I don't WANT to go back to the shop tomorrow. I just want to ride my new bike. Wahhhhhhh.

**if anyone tells you climate scientists make it all up for the money, send them my way. /endrant

Waaah, somebody closed the quick release to touch my carbon seat stays and rubbed off some essential paint.

You can't be serious!

That is not bitch-worthy.

Definitely not a quick release issue unless he-man was closing it. Hard to see in the picture but it's gouged into the carbon. A few other chips. Both wheels out of true. This was shipped from the factory....so these are things that definitely shouldn't be there. If it was a floor model, I would have just bargained it down.

I'm guessing box was dropped.

I picked the wrong set of feet to latch onto today and my oly swim was off a good three minutes. I thought it was easy because I was drafting but it was easy because I wasn't pushing hard enough. Also following seemed to take my focus off my stroke and cadence. Lesson learned.

Last night, I drank my wifes last bit of Gatorade because I was parched. Then proceeded to tell her, "No worries there is Gatorade in the fridge." She then asks me today where the Gatorade is? And, I replied, "In my belly." There goes my night, WAHHHH

Almost left the house without my jammers.

Got to the pool and realized I forgot my cue sheet for my workout.

Jumped in and 200 yds into my warmup my googles snapped in half.

Tied them back together swam three strokes and they broke again.

Did a few kick sets and called it a day.

Spent more time getting ready to swim than actual swimming.

Waaaaaaaaaaahhhh!!!!

Woke up at five to meet masters group despite getting to bed at one after a late night out. Pool guy didn't show and we can't swim without the operator. Stood around for 20 mins waiting then bagged it and went home. Total waste of an early morning.

Did a triathlon today. Kayak/Bike/Run.

I was leading the kayak by a good ways. Lady in the guide boat doesn't stay in from of us. I miss the turn around over shoot it by a good 500yards. Had a good 4-5 min on everyone. Caught the now race leader at dock. 1st out of water. Couldn't hang on the bike. Lose a few minutes. Run well. Wind up 2nd OA losing to the guy I passed at dock by 4 min. I knew I needed a solid lead coming in on the kayak. I might not have won but it would have been close.

And I forgot to start my watch.

Boo-hoo

Try harder next time.
