Yes - that is the right one.

Sometimes they have the old image and you get the new one so check it.

That’s what I have on mine and if you order it online make sure it’s the one with the Velcro. When I got mine the picture was the Velcro version, but I got the new version. No big deal, you can order the Velcro bracket separate and you’ll get additional extenders to get the bottle super low. With that said I’m still on the fence if it’s the best option after one ride. The bite valve is weak and the straw placement (if the bottle is low) is not the easiest to drink from. I’ll give it a few more rides though.

Does it matter if I have the extensions tilted at 15 degrees? The whole system would them be tilted as well it seems.

We did not have the tilt system at the time so we did to test it.

Can you specify which size plate that is? It appears to me that I would have to order a custom size since the extensions are 15cm apart.

Since you have one so perfectly, if you can share your specific order, we can skip a big step there.

Thanks

Interesting thinking the same thing on the spacers when loading to travel. Thought about taking extensions loose and using a bolt and wing nut to hold spacers in place.

Yes, this is the 14cm center-to-center which is stocked and same price from Alden’s Designs.

Center piece with 2 wings and Garmin holder. I asked that it not be drilled for zip ties and then drilled myself for direct mount.

Did you drill those holes for the bolts yourself? The pics of the ones they have on their website has holes to put zip ties in.

Yes, I drilled myself. Make sure to use masking tape to prevent splintering.

I marked and installed with an extra set of extension "nuts" (photo below). Very straight forward and easy to drill. I used one small bit for a center/pilot hole and then drilled out to the M6 size.

So I'm (likely) totally late to this part of the party but just realized looking at some pictures posted elsewhere the bike actually shields the rear wheel...

Can someone explain how the rules allow for this? If already done just point to where this has been asked/discussed. I'm not backhand-idly trying to start shit (I generally like it/the idea/concept in the company and all the hard work done by Dan), I'm genuinely interested.

Thanks

Ok, thanks. I guess I'm looking for a bit more 'late night reading' on how that part of the bike came to be. You devote a line to it on the your site/development of the bike but I cant imagine it was just a 'took a chance' as you describe.

Thanks!

I was thinking of just putting it under the armrest cups and using those bolts to secure both the plate and the cups.

Hmmm, that might require a modification from Glen (Alden Designs). I've included a photo below, but the extension/pad interface is flat, while the BTA mount comes with a curved wing to fit the extension profile. Running the BTA further back would allow you to flip the bottle 180 without it getting too far forward for your hands, but I think you would then run into issues with the computer mount.

Dan,

Finally assembled the bike and had a short ride on it. It is a very nice bike! So thank you for that. Love the clean look, and the bike handled very nice and smooth. Can't wait to put more miles on it. If you don't mind, I'll put a few nitpicky suggestions.

1) It would be nice if you could design your own hydration plate that fits under the aero cups, like the tririg alpha x.
2) A video going through the installation of the bike kind of like the one you have about the bike bag would be great and save a lot of time
3) I hate the crack pipe since it lacks a locking mechanism and I can't fit my Silca Hiro adapter onto the valve on the disc.
4) I was worried about the aero pads being so small but they did fine on my short ride. But a more rounded cup would be nice.
5) The paint/clear coat could be nicer.

I have ordered some decals for the wheels and some BTS/BTA hardware. As soon as I have those installed, I'll post a pic. All in all, very happy with the bike.

Thank you I appreciate the feedback. There are some larger cups that are direct bolt Ins. Profile design FC 35 elbow cups- they come in carbon, aluminum and plastic.

I’m looking at a bridge like your suggestions.

I've never seen the opening for the p-disk, but a lot of us had same issue with Zipp Super9 discs, couldn't fit a hiro in with a typical valve length tube. Solution was to find a latex tube with a small 40mm valve. I think silca is selling these now.

No, there’s plenty of room (way more than my Zipp 900) but the supplies crack pipe is old school and you need I hold it to keep it on the valve. The Silica crack pipe is a great solution as it does stay on without holding it.

Well, KingMidas above said:
"I can't fit my Silca Hiro adapter onto the valve on the disc. "

So I assumed maybe he is using a valve that is too long for the hiro to fit under it?

I am using what came with the disc. I’ll try again. Didn’t want to force it. I’ll be home in 10 min.

Not working for me. Can’t get a good seal around the valve.

I love my hiro. I was never able to get a 'normal' crack pipe to stay on any valve without using one hand to hold it on.

The hiro I have is the Silca V2 version. I actually bought one of the original non-silca versions of the hiro first, and the seal just never worked for me. But the newer Silca version is perfect.

BTW, if ordering from Premier, remember to grab some of their chain lube, huge bottle for like $15. Have been using for a month, really nice stuff.

The rear disc air filler "pipe" is included just to make sure you have a way to add some air. It's an en-expensive old school filler. I remember getting my first disc and was frustrated that my pump would not work - had to order something etc...so we just give it away. I would not use it long term either.

This is the one I have. No issues with getting seal on front tire. But for some reason, even though I can finagle it on the disc valve, air leaks out when I pump instead of going into the tube.
