hey jmX,

214 grams.

Small price to pay to keep all your stuff in one place while maintaining the aesthetics and aerodynamics of the bike.

Yoo Ports18,

I'll see if we can make a quick video of how to pack this thing up for you and list it on a youtube channel somewhere.

Hey Pdais97,

All the fuelcells hold the same capacity. there is an adapter that comes with every fuelcell to make it work on M/L/XL, on XS/S you will not need this adapter.

Are you referring to the fuelselage? we make two sizes of those. The fuelselage for XS/S frames holds approximately 22oz while the fuelselage for M/L/XL holds approximately 26oz.

Thanks Matt,

it is the fuel cell that I´m referring too.
Do you know the volume in oz for the fuel cell?

There are about a dozen screws/bolts on my 2012 S-Works Shiv that are corroded from rain and trainer sessions; they all need replacements, but I can't get anyone on the phone at the LBS where I purchased (an hour away from my home). Does anyone know if these replacements can be ordered directly through Specialized?

Thanks!

Yooo revclack,

Sorry to hear about the bolts.

Unfortantely we don't have a direct way for you to order them through us, your LBS will have to get them from our service team. The good news is our service team will mail them out either same day as the request or first thing in the am. The bad news is, you need your LBS to pick up the phone first and order them.

The plastic bucket part of the fuelcell holds a volume of 8oz.

Has the special edition/new color that Rapp and Crowie were riding in Kona been made available yet?

Not that I'll get one (the Shiv doesn't really fit me) - but I'd love to see some ST bike porn builds with that awesome paint scheme. ^_^

Hey Matt, I ordered a 2014 SWorks Shiv, the one I saw at IMMT had a satellite shifter on the right horn for the rear derailer, is that standard or do I need to order that also, thanks Jim

Where are you guys getting your Fuel Cells from? LBS here in Colorado are all saying mid-December deliver date and I'm hoping to get one installed and storage worked out in time for Cozumel on Dec 1.

When i picked mine up i talked to the shop about the problems reported here and they tested it buy dropping a Bontrager X light right in. It comes in a sealed shrink wrapped skin. It was the most compact tube i had ever seen and dropped in without a problem. LINK HERE.

I myself use Caffelatex preventative and put Tuffos extreme sealant in the FuelCell which would repair 2 tires. The sealant, 2-CO2's and valve tool fit without an issue.

Yes....you do not need the rack for the sitero. You just need the wing....at least that's what I was told.

The wing is needed for sitero. Per specialized page.

Hey Ports18,

1. Noticed a little black clip inside the black flex part of my fuel cell, not sure where it came from but didn't notice it previously. Have been playing with the fuel cell trying to fit things in, looks like it would just slot over something but the front end comes out a lot easier, if anyone could check theirs it would be appreciated.
-This clip goes on the front notch of the fuelcell. if you look at it, it matches the shape of the little notch. This helps to hold the soft rubber top in place.

2. The DT Axis 2.0's, could be because they are new rims but it sounds (I think) like the spokes are pinging quite a bit on the front wheel. Is this normal and should I give it some time before returning to LBS. Only pings when out of saddle and was a lot worse when first riding it. Assuming it will go or will need re-tensioning when it comes to 1st major service??? Other wheel in front doesn't have same issue.
-It sounds like they are tensioned tight and maybe loosening up after riding, should be okay. Make sure to check the spokes for the next couple of rides before leaving just to be double sure. If it continues take it back to the LBS.

Thanks Matt worked out the clip.

I'm sure all of us Fuelcell owners would love some advice on packing. Is it the type of tube? I've packed and taped it as tight as I can, but still can't fit it, co2 and co2 head as the website advises. Thanks mate.

This is a quick video on how I pack my Fuel Cell for racing!
