You know that SECOND (2nd) does not start with the letter "T" right? :P

Yes but TWO does, as in the context of Page Two. So I wasn't thinking 2nd when I typed that I was looking at the digit 2 and for some reason I was thinking about two spelled out.

I guess there are different ways of phrasing things. I should have been a little more clear so that I would not have left myself open to looking like an idiot.

Phew! I thought you were referring to a page number that rhymes with "Turd"! EE gad - what will happen in this thread throughout the upcoming Kona taper? I'm scared to even consider it!

<we started to run some 5:30 miles and my heart rate made it to the roof....my heart rate monitor started to BEEP BEEP....sergio looked at me with a smile asking me if we needed to slow down.....i quickly came back saying that no...my heart rate had actually slip down to Z1 >

LOL

I doubt very much that "The Sergio" bought that.:-)

Ha Ha! That's still very impressive, but I'll have to admit that I was feeling extremely humbled until I read this last part. I'm still humbled, as I should be, but 5:15 pace?!!

Nice job.

Taper is not a question of belief, there is abundant evidence the it improves performance. Not to taper is idiotic, and I'm being nice.
Have you tried the no taper taper on any of your athletes? I'm thinking it would be perfect for you to get jonnyo on that program for Kona. You can then use The Sergio as a control group to see if it works.

Thats just mean, throwing the poor jonnyo to the Lions. Kind of Roman Empire mentality... lets just throw the poor thing out there and see what happens on the other hand The Sergio of course will follow the more proven formula.

I know why you didnt suggest the other way around, The Sergio will send a powerful mindblast for even contemplating it. :)

Peace

Well, hopefully you will take some solid time OFF after Kona. Sounds like you need to refresh and enjoy life for awhile
No actually he has to clean my garage since he messed it up, more than once. He will wish he was training 6 hours per day at Z4 & Z5 instead though!

Oh come on Bjorn, you're not being nice. Jonnyo is such a nice guy, why would I sabotage his race? Now if you told me Dev Paul should try the no-taper taper, THAT would be a good idea, hehehehehehehe...

Does The Sergio believe that Lava Java has the best coffee in town or it's just the best place to see and be seen?

You seem to forget that The Sergio doesn't like attention, that is why The Rappstar started this Thread in the first place. The good thing is that The Sergio doesn't see the people, the people see The Sergio.

What The Sergio likes about Lava Java is the free wireless. There's nothing like coffee with a taste of free wireless... it tastes like... The Internet!

Out of curiosity, what is the record for the most posts and most views. This thread is rapidly approaching 900 and 45,000.

The Hottie thread had it beat but I don't know the stats. Maybe Sparticus or JulianfromEngland could recite the stats.

R.I.P. The Hottie Thread.

I think it topped out at over a million views?

As for the regular Tri forum, I believe the current champ is the Dirty Secrets thread... but I could be mistaken, as of course, THE SERGIO will emerge victorious, eventually.

How long did the Hottie thread live for? I think Khai started it during the 2004 summer olympics and went until???? Was it 6 month ago when slowman pulled the plug?

There is no stopping THE SERGIO.

The Sergio Thread Rappstar 44773 613

See, THE SERGIO has already achieved victory over the puny and weak Dirty Secrets thread. Post #1 of 782 (19786 views)

It is just a matter of time before THE SERGIO crushes the memory of The Hottie Thread.

(dunno the specifics, that was Spartacus' baby)
