Since you said in one of your post that you like cookie cutter training programs, I will send you The Sergio's program for you to follow. That should keep you entertained... ;-)

The power of The Sergio even reaches to 9,100ft!! I had a Six mile trail race this morning in Frisco (9100-9500ft). I did not feel good at all and almost did not make the hour and twenty minute drive, but I went. The altitude was killing me, I have never tried to run at that elevation. My time was very very bad and other than a good workout for next weekends 5k I thought it was a waste. The the power of The Sergio took over and and I won the final prize in the drawing a pair of Salomon Trail Comp SCS shoes that are like $90. It was a better prize than the age group winners got.

All Hail The Sergio!

so now......LET TALK COACH ATHLETE RELATIONSHIP

what is your relationship with your coach? do you trust him? will you just follow blindly the schedule he give you. what is your level of confidence in him? i know it depend of how long you been with the coach and if you had positive or negative experience. Do anyone as hard time to trust your coach? always second quest what he gives you and ask tons of questions about why and what you do????

i for sure have hard time to trust coaches....like right now...i following someone schedule and wonder if it s the right thing for me or not.... i don't know...the schedule i m following isn't perfect and maybe it s been writing by a troll???????? how do i know if i m in good hands????????????? anyone can help here.....just need advice..... sometimes...i feel like the coach in question isnt really listening to me and just kind of listen but don't really listen.........maybe he is a genius???....maybe a clown???..maybe a genius clown?????

anyway...i hope one day to get into a place where i can really trust my coach...where we are buddy buddy....maybe even best friends....or father and son......

i wonder what kind of relationship those two have????

but i dont think they want anyone to know....

Good, I've got a half marathon tomorrow. This is the one that I want to run the full marathon, and my coach said NO, and now I'm really mad. Maybe I'll "accidentally" miss the turnaround.

:P

Okay.

I will run 13.1 so hard that my body will not want to run another step after that.

The aura of THE SERGIO was with me today as I was the only one in my group who didn't get a flat during our ride up Santiago Canyon in Orange County California.

hail THE SERGIO

The Sergio's definition is running so hard you need to sleep with a box under the end of your mattress to help reduce the swelling in your feet...

Nothing special, just the bread-and-butter sunday long ride + transition run:

BIKE: 5:00h (1:00h Zn2 + 2x(1:00 Zn3 + 30min Zn2) + 1:00h Zn2) + transition +

RUN: 10min Technique + 15min Progressive Zn2-Zn3 + 10min cooldown
