I'll say this, Sam Long is the real deal. He biked a 130 mile bike last week and ran a 17 mile tempo run this week, so to do that sort of volume and be having the race he is having today, wow!!

According to the tracker, Lionel’s avg run pace so far is 5:04/mile and Hanson 4:59/mile. No way either are sustainable, that’s like a 1:06 half.

Wonder if the latest section was uphill a little. Both LS and SL's trackers dropped the average a lot after last update , and lionel put a few more seconds back into him

Edit - NM, half a km later and next update is back to a 5:03/mile pace. Crazy. And Sam 30 seconds back

for what it's worth, I'm finding the tracker a little confusing. and now it's died anyway.

Guessing Skye, Sophie, Heather for women's podium. In that order.

It's been very spotty for me. It was restarting on me every few minutes saying it was "updating settings" and then says I don't have internet connection. Not a very stable app right now.

Heather looks a long way back in 7th. Seemed an exceptionally slow swim for her. Hopefully she can continue to make up ground.

Ben Kanute down to 56 seconds back, so he is doing the same thing he did in Miami. I think Lionel can hold him off but what about Sam. Would love to see Sam come in 2nd.

18km in and Lionel is still holding strong. Sam 38 secs back. Kanute at 56sec back.

Hanson 4th at 1:56 back.

Paces are not moving much in the top 4, can't see the positions changing much.

So do we think Skipper got dq'd? Tracker shows "waiting to start" which is what it usually says for DQs and drop outs. Maybe for not serving his drafting penalty?
