Figured you would like that one...

So, Seinfeldian moments from every day life...wow, they happen all the time---I think at least once a day I'll comment to someone "damn, just like from a Seinfeld episode!". Like dreams, I'll have to start writing them down so I can bore...er, I mean share them with you.

My daughter had an ice cream party at her school Friday. She was on the hook to bring pretzels ... I think you know where this is leading.

OK - it is obvious where this is going, so I'll ask -- Where do YOU put the emphasis?

I hope you have all been enjoying Curb Your Enthusiasm. A few slow shows, but some real laugh-out-loud shows.

I don't have time to watch CYE. I steal forks from restaurants.

So on Sunday we went to a friend's baby's first birthday party (oh, what fun that was)...anyway, one of their other friends had their own baby with them---perhaps the ugliest, fattest baby I've ever seen. Gigantic head, huge puffed out cheeks and legs that would shame a sumo wrestler. Maybe 8 months old and weighed, I don't know, 50 pounds?

And all I could think was "that is one breathtaking baby..."

I always feel that when I watch that show, that I am watching "the evil George". Some shows absolutely slay me, others creep me out. Worth watching if you are a Seinfeld fan, IMHO.

So today I go into the bagel shop to grab a bite for lunch. There aren't but a few people there, but enough to form a bit of a line at the counter. This guy comes in behind me and sidles up kind of close. He's whistling and acting all antsy. I don't think much of it, but when the line moves, I take the opportunity to add to my personal space by moving as far down the counter as possible. Like some sort of pilot fish, this guy sidles right up along with me, cramping right up next to me on the counter. Darn close-standers.

I'm hungry. I think I'll have a chicken salad. Maybe some water, too. I already had a Diet Coke. Did I bring my yam? Yup. Trainer workout tonight after hitting the dry cleaner and grocery store. Who the hell calls it a "Supermarket" anyway? Probably the same people who call dinner "supper". And soda "pop".

Ok (okay?), time to refocus. Thanks.

For those of you who may have read the thread about the guy who was displeased with the Felt he bought from Tom D - I suppose his impression of the bike was something like this:

"Felt bike: in the store...hotsy, hotsy

but at home...notsy, notsy"

I know why the customer was so displeased...Tom's got skinny mirrors. That's right! Bikesport's full of skinny mirrors! This one was just on, and I love it - so many classic lines...

"It's Uma, Jerry...Uma."

Renewed OBSESSION with Seinfeld lately - so, this shows up right on time.

In the last several days, have seen reruns of:

"Spongeworthy"

"Yadda, yadda, yadda"

"This, That, and The Other"

GENIUS!!!

Maybe we should have a Curb Your Enthusiasm thread too. I finally watched the Season Finale last night, what a classic. Larry David is the comic genius of our generation.

Remember...this is a thread about nothing whatsoever...so feel free to gab about CYE as well...

I like to think of this as the triathlete decompression thread...

Or the anti-Lavender room thread, if that works for you.

The chick-running-and-farting thread belongs here...could be called "The Flatulent"
