[Moderator's note: This thread was situated in the main forum for a month or so, it's now moved back to the JOBS forum. Employers, you may want to read through this thread, you may discover your sought after employee.]

Things are still tough for a lot of folks in our community. Many of them post in the Jobs forum, but I know that doesn't get as much traffic as this forum does. So if you've made a posting in the Jobs forum, feel free to post a link to your thread in here along with a brief snippet.

Everyone, please take some time to read through this thread as it grows. ST is a great resources, and it's always great when we can help a fellow Peaceful Tribe member out.

Thanks,

Jordan

Hat's off to Rappstar. Not that many Tier 1 pro triathletes are spending a Tuesday evening in October trying to enable fellow triathletes finding jobs as he prepares for an A race. Very nice gesture.

By last count my employer has 1143 openings: http://www.rim.com/careers. The Kitchener/Waterloo area in Ontario has a vibrant tri community, mediocre pools, but awesome riding and running. And winter is just a state of mind.

Thank you Jordan.

As an attorney, I am anxious to become involved with your companies strategic objectives and I am confident that I will be an asset through excellent written, and oral communication skills.

My immense range of government relations experience started with the office of United States Senator Max Celand and has continued to as a staff attorney and committee counsel for the Mississippi House of Representatives. In these experiences, along with the Mississippi Attorney General's office, the office of the Mayor of Atlanta and other public policy associations and government agencies, I have gained experience of how to create and maintain relations, fund raise, generate personal relationships with elected members and comprehension of how to monitor the public policy and regulatory process.

For the last two legislative sessions as a staff attorney and committee counsel, I drafted law and advised Mississippi legislators on the effects of legislation and concerns of the members of the House. During this time, I have mastered the practice and complex art of drafting legislation. In this intense practice we are not provided the opportunity of a mistake, in turn, writing has become one of my principal strengths along with creating personal relationships with Legislative members, agencies and organizations. These traits have allowed me to successfully counsel elected officials and citizens through the confusion presented by the government and legislation.

I have legal, sales, and government relations experience and I am licensed to practice law.

Thank you

Eugene O'Donnell

That sounds like a fun place to be. I'm in Vancouver right now but my wife and I checked out the Penticton area as we both registered for next year. Wouldn't be able to do it this year, but her final year of her PhD will allow her to write from anywhere. We're both looking for the next adventurous place to live.

It is great. Accomodation is a little pricey, but living on mountain is worth it in my opinion. Great place to write if you have enough self control to not be out on the slopes all day ;)
