Hi Damon,

I recently went from a High-V position to a Low position with 25 mm FSA spacers and wanted to get a little input.[/img][/img][/img][/img][/img]
Do you think this set-up would compromise stability or aerodynamics or have any other negative impact? If yes, is there another way of getting somewhere in between the 105 mm stack of the High-V and the 60 mm stack of the Low position (I'm only using 1-5 mm spacer underneath the bar)?

Thank you,
Rick

I think that looks really good...I like the way your bottle holder fits in there!

Hi trithink,

Nice set up! Looks pretty good stability-wise.

But I have to be honest, we have not structurally tested the bar with arm pad spacers, as they were not part of the initial Aduro design.

More fork spacers would have gotten you to that position before the steerer was cut. I know, too late now. :-(

I'd feel better if your arm pads were narrower, which would put less bending load on the bar where the spacer bolts attach.

Cheers,

Any recommendations of what aero bottle fits best on the frame for the P5? Or is there anything in production that can attach to frame above the BB for patch kit?

Does this imply that something is in the work?

Yeah, that's what I heard too. You would think is would take less than 15 months to create a P4 water bottle knock off. Then again, I don't understand what that type of production entails.

Hi tri,

We (Cervelo) are not producing storage, but we've made the frame geometry in that area available to several independent companies.

Just guessing, but part of extended design time may be because there is a geometrical design challenge with any bike other than the P4. Namely, the angle of the down tube changes with different frame sizes. This means the angle between the seat tube and down tube, where dedicated storage goes, isn't consistent among the different sizes. The P4 frame absorbs this difference by design; every P4 frame size has the same bottle cutout dimensions.

Does anyone know whether brake shoes come with the Magura brakes on the P5-Three frame set? It seems like when ordering the Magura RT6 TT separately they are not included. I guess this is also the case when they come with the frame?

Thanks in advance for anyone who can answer it.

Yes they do. The Magura brakes that come with the P5s are ready to ride. Just have your shop mount them and bleed the lines.

You have found a rare one! This is a sample colour way and very few of them exist. I believe they are all in the Asia and Australia (maybe a couple in the EU). There are no plans to make a change to this scheme and we are continuing with the standard P5 colours.

That's such a shame. That color scheme is a huge improvement to the current one.

I agree, I think the current paint scheme is awesome; the more I look at it, the more I like it.
