tommy z is having the race of his life right now and holding on to 4th after the first lap of the run!

Gomez and Luis leading after first run lap, Brownlee 3rd but 16s down so FeketeBlob might have been onto something ;-)

 
Where did the rumour come from re Gomez not being particularly keen to race? Was it his own twitter?

Gomez popped Luis

Tommy Z starting to fade a bit, but he still has about 30 seconds in the bad. Murray and Mola coming from behind though...

mola and murray are going to get him but that still will keep him in 7th. it will really help if AB blows up or DNFs. he's fading.

Alistair still hanging onto 3rd. I guess he's going to try to do just enough to get the 3rd podium spot.

Bit surprising that Murray went away from Mola so easily.

it sounded and looked like mola was doing a lot of work on the bike but, yeah, he usually doesn't get dropped like that.

That was a massive lap from Murray, put 24 seconds into Mola in 2.5km!

Yup, he wasn't able to hold off that chase pack. I was really really pulling for him to hold that top 8 position but it looks unrealistic now.

Yeah. That was unexpected. Would be a great race to watch..... They will be showing race highlights later in the month though right?

Gotta wonder how Dallas impacts him in a situation like this. From interviews, it seems like he still hasn't hit his running ceiling.
