That pan out shot of Frodo looks like clown shoes. Only thing clunkier was the Kipchoge shoe!

I saw an interview last year where frodo said he thought of retiring but seeing lange win motivated him and kienle to come back
#therecordbreaker considering all the banter? If Frodo's team is reading this I want royalties haha!

Is Frodo on pace to break the course record?// I think he just has to run low 6 minute miles for the last 6 and he can get it. That would please him to no end, and a lot of Lange haters too... (-;
6:33 pace for last 5.5 miles gets it done.

I must say I’m impressed with your performance. Timely splits all day long. Keep up the good work!

Talking of speed check the women's top 10 runners pace and compare with the men. There's not much difference. Amazing.

The bad news for LCB is that Anne, Sarah, and Laura are all running her down hard. Daniela is coming too but will likely run out of real estateIf someone said Daniela would be running down Lucy in he last quarter mile I’d get excited....until they would mention it would be for 4th

I don’t like to root “against” anyone (Lange), but I really hope Frodo keeps his foot on the gas all the way through the line. Somebody get down there to hot corner and tell him to haul ass all the way across the line. Frodo deserves the course record and all of the plaudits that go with it.

Makes me more sad for Hoka who put all this $ into the run course and everyone is wearing Nike's.

He really put some time into his he field last split.

What are you looking at? there is a big difference, and in the overall race, an even bigger one. We are talking about the men breaking the record for the fastest course of all time last year, and the women are miles from that this year. It even looks like if TO hangs on, he has a chance to break 8 hours too, on a pretty normal day too...

What's bad is that a lot of people voted yes.

I took the top ten men's and top ten women's and I make at least five women running faster than men in the top ten.
That's what I was looking at.
You're right, women are miles off.

Outside chance of catching Sebi for third? 234 seconds back with 5.8 miles left. Would need to run 40 seconds faster per mile than Sebi. Per the tracker on the last split he was running 39s faster per mile....

That is what I was just looking at. Seems that way. I was really hoping he would have a good first time out. Looking back at his interview I see that he was pressured to come this year and was struggling with that decision but said it was OK. GUESS NOT.
Now that it is pretty much set I really want Frodo to go for the course record.
