That sounds crazy, a 120 minute IPA. The 90 minute was pretty thick, I can't imagine what the 120 must be like, but rest assured that if I find it I am buying it! Thanks for the tip.

don't get me wrong, sometimes i go for the flavor of a St. Pauli girl. plus, i'd really like to have a dress like the girl on the label is wearing.

also, what about Tsing Tao? that's a pretty good beer.

my dad used to buy giant cans of Sapparo (or however it's spelled)--has anyone ever had it? i think it's japanese...

Hansa - It's from Bergen, Norway and is the nector of the gods.....

It's available in some parts of the U.S., but sadly not in Michigan yet (that I know of).

I like all sorts of beer. Right now I'm drinking Red Dog. I thought it was some cheapo beer like Old Milwaukee or Busch but it is surprisingly good (and cheap).

grolsch is different for sure...i like that bite...that skunky, donkeypiss, stinky, wring your shorts out bite...hehe

like to make beer in the empty grolschs too, though its usually an experience in extreme flatulence and best done in moderation.

the big cans of Sapporo, i liked those a long time ago, especially the big handle that was clamped on the side, but it was more the size novelty, cant really recall the taste...it was the sheer size that suckered me in...good for piggy banks when empty

Tsing tao is nice too, but only appears in restaurants round here...what a lovely life to have all these choices! Cheers all.

I believe it is spelled Sapporo, and it is Japanese. Very good beer for Japanese beer which in my opinion tends be similar to Heineken and the like. Best when Sake is submerged and the entire concotion is consumed rapidly between pieces of sushi. ;)

Finally! I had to go through 3 pages to find an Oregonian.

Favorite all purpose beer: Deschutes Brewery Mirror Pond. I drink a Mirror Pond almost daily, I don't think I can happily travel abroad now because of this. Mmmmm! Can't wait to get home and have one.

Favorite local brew: Oregon Trail Nut Brown

Any beer in a pub in England, Scotland or Ireland. Oh, I wish I could drink AND smoke again!

There are many good norwegian beers, but probably no chance of getting them outside of Norway.

"There are many good norwegian beers, but probably no chance of getting them outside of Norway. "

Of the many international beers that I've tried, I honestly don't think any one of them was Norwegian.

Seems like your Danish cousins have the Scandinavian export market all sewed up. :-)
