Not sure how you can be a Browns fan and not drink every Sunday. When are they going to be decent? I was bummed when the Indians season was over because I knew we didn't have a chance!!!

Nice... I also need to sub categorize.

Winter is generally darker
  • gotta go with Guinness as the standard
  • Taddy Porter
  • Barney Flats Oatmean Stout
  • Mountain Sun - Java Porter (a nice breakfast beer, btw)

In the summer,
  • New Belgium - Fat Tire, or Sunshine Wheat
  • Mountain Sun - XXX Pale ("The Crippla"), Colorado Kind Ale, Annapurna Amber

Golden City Brewery wins the best local for me. Only open until 6PM, GREAT beer, and it's in the brewmasters backyard. Next time you are in Golden skip the Coors tour and head a couple of blocks to the west over to 920 1/2 12th Street. You won't be disappointed!

i'm a secret browns fan, but cannot admit that outloud in Cincinnati. if I did, people in orange jerseys would come out of nowhere and scream "WHO-DEY" in my ears and then trample me by icky shuffle.

KC

I am rooting for the Bengals this year

The bengals are carving it up - hilarious to watch that guy take the ball out of Favre's hands yesterday during the game

just think- if an unpaid (and probably drunk) overweight man can steal the ball from Favre - ANY professional athlete on the field definitely can.

He should retire right now (as in this afternoon - before 2pm)- because next week - it will be the king from the burger king ad and he won;t be so lucky - he'll get taken down

(sorry to hijack the thread - he has been removed from my fantasy football roster effective today)

Well you've all got this covered, especially Kittycat, who hit a home run with her post. Almost all my favs have been listed, but I'll throw out two more:

Red Hook ESB (I can't get Fat Tire here, but this brewery is doing some nice work)

Chimay will always be #1 in my book, but it can also be hard to come by....so for a second Belgian choice - Corsendork - easy to get lately, and very yummy - especially the brown ale.

I am rooting for the Cowboys so I shouldn't be too mean but didn't the Bengals become a PeeWee team a few years back and drop off the face of the earth?

"I tried some Frenchy Canadian beer that was pure heaven "

Was it Brador? That stuff is 6.5% and hits you fairly fast.

Guiness is my favorite cool weather beer. Had a couple after our ride yesterday.

A subject very near and dear to my heart. Here's a short list:

1. Bell's Oberon (I like it so much I named my dog after it)

2. Nightmare Russian Stout - Horse Head Brewery, OR. (Actually all russian stouts)

3. Rouge's Dead Guy Ale. Very good and fun to order!

4. Guiness or Beamish

5. Anything cold and frosty served with a healthy helping of Family and Freinds!

I don't blame you for being secretive. I have been a secretive fan for years after they were good with Kosar and the boys. Thing I like best about it is that I can miss the games while training and not even regret it when I see the score!!

I go for English, Scottish and Irish beers generally. Brown Ales are my favorite.

Not a fan of most German, Mexican or Belgian beers.

My buddy gives me shit about it, but I also really like Sam Adams Cherry Wheat.
