So what if cervelo filled in that area above the BB, to compensate for getting rid of the bottle/box that was supposed to make the bike more aero, but most hated...?

Interesting because to me in the picture the top tube looks like an R5 top tube.

I thought to start with the new Specialized but the more I think about it with Crowie riding the P4 at Vegas it's a P5/x.

I just find it hard to believe it would be anything different than a Cervelo or Orbea. To switch into a 3rd different branded TT bike in 4-5 weeks just seems unlikely right before Kona.

Agreed and I'm going to say no to the Orbea - If he was going to get the new Orbea for Kona why would he ride a P4 at Vegas in a race he would have won anyway on his old orbea? Doesn't make sense...

hey, no probs...what I am saying is companies in the bike business that support World Tour bike racing (ie: Le Tour etc.) will not build a bike to market that is banned by the UCI. So Specialized, Trek, Giant, and Cervelo will not launch anything at Kona that hasn't already been approved by the UCI. Otherwise they are not sure if it can actually make it to market. UCI now has a process I have come to learn but who knows if their process is accurate in both time to review and approve, as well as, true to their word (can you tell I think the UCI are a bunch of old hacks!)

Companies like you outlined, launch away, their market is triathlon only and not limited by the ineptitude of the UCI-:)

But Interbike was after the Worlds in Vegas. So I would say it's not possible to have him on a totally different bike than a Cervelo or Orbea. How marketable would you be just winning a World Championship and your at Interbike and you say your looking for a ride. with the resume he has it would be like a fat boy on a cake.
