Uh oh, I think this thread could really take a turn here!

one way or the other we will accommodate you all. one thing, tho: we have a chronic problem of cancellations, as is the case always in the "hospitality industry." any number fewer than fifteen, we can always work that out. once we get over 15, then we need to lease another 747, or resort to other extraordinary measures. that's not a problem.

but there will be some hand wringing if we then find that it's work we did not need to do. we could just say amongst ourselves, here on the property, "there are 24 people signed up, but we know that only 15 will show, so we'll only plan for 15." but then if 24 show, we're in trouble, so we're not going to do that. if you say it's 24, we'll plan for 24.

best is for us to get a firm handle on who's really going to be here, then we can plan without planning in vain.

Cathy, I am a maybe... the only week the BF and I could get off for a vacation this spring is the week before the camp, and I don't think I can swing both - plus I'd miss K too much... I'll confirm either way shortly. :-( AP
