Texas A&M -17.5 against Clemson ???

That's a lot of points.

Did you forget A&M is now in the SEC?

You sure do give the SEC a lot of rent free room in your head.

I've seen what keeps Windy up at night.....

It scares me too!

Go Cougs!!

Oh God. There's always one. WTF is a palouse, anyway?

But seriously, there's a Wazzu house in our neighborhood that overlooks a valley with a major intersection below the house. The house is painted that dark cement gray with crimson trim. The fence is the same gray but instead of crimson trim there's a giant crimson "WSU" logo (you know the one, a stylized "WSU" that looks like a cougar head) facing the valley. The house's three flagpoles have one United States flag in the middle and two Coug flags on either side. They've got a big "3" flag too, though I can't recall off the top of my head where it is. I want to say its affixed to the fence next to the painted WSU logo.

Apropos of nothing, I think this photo should be hung in the Louvre.

Jeezus Oregon's play calling has been atrocious in the 4th

I honestly think that Oregon was the better team but the only thing that counts is the final score. Go Auburn. Great game to watch.

I'm not going to give Oregon the benefit of the doubt. The Better Team lasts four quarters, be it in a dominant position or in a comeback. The Better Team never snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. Oregon folded from top to bottom and that's not what The Better Team ever does.

That said, I think their new coach Mario Cristobal (sp?) may be the real deal. He was an offensive lineman on those late-'80s Miami Hurricanes teams that were always in the hunt for the national championship. My understanding is that he's trying to change the culture at Oregon to match his Miami teams' culture (albeit hopefully minus the rampant criminal activity [remember "Catholics versus Convicts"?]). He wants his team to smack the opponent in the mouth early and often and spend all game talking sh*t about it.

Here's a better look at Cristobal and who he is:

3 straight passes by Michigan means FG

Army gets to roll on as if going over a hill or a dale.

Yeah, that's pretty crazy. I knew Nebraska traveled well, but I don't know if I've ever seen anything like that. I've seen the Huskers play at Husky Stadium and there was a lot of red--but nothing like that.

A&M left the Big 12 for the SEC and Jimbo is a tool. I'll be honest I felt dirty after I put Clemson down

I was born in Omaha but I have to admit the best thing to do in Nebraska is to visit Colorado.

We are driving out to do some camping and fly fishing in CO. Listened to game on XM radio and it helped the long drive across KS. Sure sad to have that opportunity slip thru our fingers.

Just finished loading our growler at Bristol Brewing in the Springs (went with their Laughing Lab Ale). Now headed up into Eleven Mile Canyon to set up camp. I’ll be on the water in morning throwing bugs at Trouts. After three days here we’re going over to raft and fly fish Gunnison Canyon.

Life’s. Good.

Tulane up 3 on an overrated Auburn after 1 (this is a surprisingly good game)

An overrated LSU is up 3 late in the first on an evidently overrated Texas team (no other explanation for LSU winning)
