I'm not going to give Oregon the benefit of the doubt. The Better Team lasts four quarters, be it in a dominant position or in a comeback. The Better Team never snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. Oregon folded from top to bottom and that's not what The Better Team ever does.
That said, I think their new coach Mario Cristobal (sp?) may be the real deal. He was an offensive lineman on those late-'80s Miami Hurricanes teams that were always in the hunt for the national championship. My understanding is that he's trying to change the culture at Oregon to match his Miami teams' culture (albeit hopefully minus the rampant criminal activity [remember "Catholics versus Convicts"?]). He wants his team to smack the opponent in the mouth early and often and spend all game talking sh*t about it.
