3. 56.75 miles
4. 131 lbs (bike with set up was 21 lbs, total of 153 lbs)

Rode comfortable, could have ridden a bit harder but no do overs.

1. 164 watts

3. 112 miles (also IMFL)
4. 180 lbs
5. BMC TM02. Flo 60/Flo Disc, two bottle PD hydration system behind seat (water bottle/flat kit) and Torhans 30 up front.

Ridiculously perfect wind conditions for a fast bike split, had planned on more like a 19.5 - 20 MPH average for this power.

Ok, your a good target for me, we weigh close to the same...Just started training with power 3 months ago...On a road bike, though this was impressive. Sadly my FTP is 205 - but I have the winter!

Unless the wind was actually helpful, I'm getting very low drag... like .20 or less. Draft legal?

It wasn't draft legal. Same race I did last year with 16 less watts and rode a 56:12 at 26.6. My file from this year says 22.7 miles but I didn't start it on time so maybe 23. Wind was blowing pretty good heading back.

Thanks! Power meter is a Quarq Riken, manual calibrated at 6am, and I did a auto-zero about 5 miles into the ride.

I've done my best to get as aero as I can. I did a custom reroute of all the cables internally into the stem and directly into the frame. Wore a PI Octane suit. XLab BTA torpedo bottle. Behind the seat bottle for backup. No frame bottles. Omega break up front. Low and narrow cockpit. Latex tubes. Vitt Corsa Evo CX 21 up front, Conti GP 4000s 23 in back.

I just wish I wasn't sick leading into the race. I would have loved to see what my time would have been had I been able to hit 0.75 IF.

The time and speed in my original post was from the race results, power was from my TP account.

1. AP 214w, NP 217w, VI 1.01
2. 23.01 MPH
3. Miami 70.3
4. 165 lbs
5. P3 with a front FLO 60, rear wheelcover, GP4000s up front and Vittoria EVO Triathlon II on the rear with latex tubes. RP Wingspan.

I thought I was doing ok until I saw you do the same speed on 27 less watts for IMFL and similar weight. My position definitely isn't as aggressive as yours, nicely done!

NP 132w
FTP 200
19.6 mph
IMFLA 112 miles
145 pounds.
Easy to be over 20 mph, so took it easy on the watts hoping to set up a great run. Sadly, the run didn't turn out great, but I hung in there and was still running at the end.

you should never rely on race results speeds unless it is a certified course. they always make grandiose assumptions on distance as you can see, 26.6 vs 23 miles

Was able to "run" the entire run, although that last trip up the causeway resembled little in the way of running. Don't think I overbiked, but run pace wasn't there in the heat and I didn't execute well. too hot to take any calories but coke.

6) No complaints, felt real good about this one. Lots of pacelining early on when the wind was less favorable, then a great tailwind in the closing miles when things began to spread out.

Nice! Got a picture of your position? We're not to dissimilar but you got almost 1mph on me. I saw my position from a FinisherPix photo and it definitely needs improving. I'm trying to figure out how much free speed I can get from a more aggressive position :)
