Having a design background, you remind me of all the engineers who drooled over functionality ;-) LOL

I propose there are 2 divisions of "hottest bike"...a masters for those who dig ugly but cool "old school", and then - works of art (predominantly aesthetic based).

Of course, even the carbon works of art don't seem to have alot of attention to detail (except for Tai's, who appears to have colors matching all over the place ;-)

...and you can't have a red/white bike with yellow writing on wheels...or silver cabling....or a black/red/yellow bike with siver chain rings.

Details people...chainrings/cables/brakes/skewers/pulleys all play a part.

Dude...never, I repeat, NEVER sell gear you already have...until you have the replacement in the door. When you get married, you'll find out...gear goes out...nothing comes back in. I am going to get the replacement set tomorrow, around $500. Worth more than the disc? Yes. But then I sell the disc put it in the wedding day fund, I have a new set of wheels and my fiance is happy. Everyone wins.
