That's fair enough, Andrew. One thing is for sure, some will like it, some will not, you are right.

How many hours are you behind GMT? I will keep an interested eye out for the photo.

Terrible photo (taken with my camera phone, don't have a digital camera), but here's my ride as it looks today. Just got the Zipps recently, plus you can see the HED cliplite s-bends. Tis a fully custom aluminum frame, made in the USA.

I race duathlons and like it.

I just picked up my 12x24 1/8 thick carbon sheet from $120.00 I should be able to make a few from the one sheet.

www.mcmaster.com

I am going to use a rotozip and cut the template from cardboard first.

I will post how it goes after.

Ok ....... FINALLY

2006 Orbea Ordu = 57cm

Full carbon frame and post

Visiontech Carbon Trimax bars

Cane Creek Carbon Levers

Hed 3 Front

Renn Madiera Rear

Ult 10 - Rotorcranks with Aero chaingrings to be installed in a month

Yet to determine the correct height on the steerer tube - hence un cut at this stage - that will be remedied soon!

Have at it on the walls and carpet, flame away - I know the walls are marked and the paint is cracked - the carpet looks like shit too - it is the third floor of my home - and the room it is in is my training room only - bikes on trainers - CT - etc etc.

Lets see them. Some people have to have something new for this season.

Heres mine, it isn't the hottest but I like it. Still trying to figure out a crank that doesn't cost a ton and is silver. The disc is probably on its way out the door in sacrifice of the wedding day...

Timothy, Timothy, Timothy.... :-)

Having a design background, you remind me of all the engineers who drooled over functionality ;-) LOL

I propose there are 2 divisions of "hottest bike"...a masters for those who dig ugly but cool "old school", and then - works of art (predominantly aesthetic based).

Of course, even the carbon works of art don't seem to have alot of attention to detail (except for Tai's, who appears to have colors matching all over the place ;-)

...and you can't have a red/white bike with yellow writing on wheels...or silver cabling....or a black/red/yellow bike with siver chain rings.

Details people...chainrings/cables/brakes/skewers/pulleys all play a part.

Now, we return you back to the regularly scheduled blingfest....

Dude...never, I repeat, NEVER sell gear you already have...until you have the replacement in the door. When you get married, you'll find out...gear goes out...nothing comes back in. Get new stuff in the house...THEN sell the old gear. And besides...how much can selling that disc possibly help wedding day?

I am going to get the replacement set tomorrow, around $500. Worth more than the disc? Yes. But then I sell the disc put it in the wedding day fund, I have a new set of wheels and my fiance is happy. Everyone wins.

Since you are so critical of everyone's ride post a pic of yours? You have made 11 posts total and 8 have been here insulting people's bikes. Let's see your ride.

Sweet jokes about the pancakes and the beam as well.
