Anybody in Nuremberg that would want to split transportation to race start on Sunday, or already has a car and could offer a ride? The train/bus schedule is a little tight

Which bus did you get scheduled for? I forgot to sign up yesterday and hope I can get one of the later ones today. The 3:11 train is quite early and the 4:41 only catches the last few busses. If we can find a group to split a taxi, I might be interested. Otherwise, taxi is just way too expensive.

I really wish Bob would focus the interviews a bit more on the actual race. Get the athletes to come with some predictions and how they think things will evolve etc

Water temperature 21.3C at 6am so wetsuit legal for the PROs (though final call at 0530). They can drop the temperature a bit by controlling flow rates, but not increase. Will likely mean Ditlev less time down in T1 and same for Skipper and Olij. Wilkowiecki, Kanute, Baekkegaard, Heemeryck and Laidlow have a good chance of getting away.
How many minutes gap does Ditlev need out of T2 over others, but particularly Lange (NB with Roth-legal Odious shoes)?
If on this start list, would the winner of CdA or Nice make the top eight?

Hi all,

Shameless self-plug, I'm at Challenge Roth and I've posted a few videos from the race on my YouTube Channel. I have 5 more videos going live tomorrow morning around the time the race starts, so I hope that you enjoy! I'll be out there somewhat longer than the people named in this thread, but I cannot wait!

Daniel

the nice male start list is rather strong and there is 2 guys from last years top 8 in kona and one of the shooting stars of this year so given that 1 3 and 4th place from kona are not racing i think it is a given that we can answer that with a yes.and i would say there is a good chance that one of the nice pros might get a podium at nice worlds this year.not many have a better power to weight profile than chevalier.

would have been great to see the 3 french in roth.

Ditlev will defend!

When he caught Frodeno last year it was like challenge miami and he started pedalling gingerly questioning himself about why he caught the goat. But this guy is so talented and I think he realised it now, so there is nothing stopping him

Glad he got to win the race with the BEST atmosphere!

Yeah knowing Lange will be hunting him down on the run, I believe heā€™ll try to destroy the bike.

I will be rooting for The Wolf for two reasons now: A) he is Polish and the Poles are fighters of the first degree; B) he was a swimmer until age 20, and was a backstroker, which has always been my fav stroke after freestyle. Hope he does well tomorrow.

Ditlev was at 508w FTP a couple of months ago, and I heard that he only just got stronger.

IĀ“d like to see Starky up front battling this out on the bike with Skipper/Ditlev, just for the show... obv gonna implode sometime, maybe even before T2.

Good race yĀ“all

Jan is a great co-commentator, but I hope Belinda doesn't revert to her usual form and keep interrupting and talking over her co-host.

Best triathlon I've ever done. It's mind blowing.

Don't like they moved it to June though.

DB had a mechanical with his gearing, it was said on the podcast. No clue about Skipper though.
