i still stay amazed at how fast these guys can run. they’re going sub six. that just blows my mind.

i’m surprised at appleton. really glad to see him at the front but he’s a shocker for me.

Who is Tom Davis? Sam Appleton never gets enough credit imo - guess it just shows the american bias on this board...

Iden's to lose now?

As long as he stays healthy, I think it's his to lose.

i love this race. i love this format. i love this coverage (minus the stupid commentators). i hope this carries on. this is so great and fun to watch.

Totally agree. This format is short enough that it's compelling to watch the entire coverage, unlike any full distance IM, including Kona.

Jeez. Every time I watch these races I think it's over after the bike and really it's only just started.

Good on Iden.

Curious on his ride, any alarms in drafting? Only ask because of Vincent and this venue.

I'd picked Ali to win and Gustav second. But would be happy to see Gustav win, just comes across as such a genuinely nice guy. Plus all those guys making comments on his instagram or whatever about his taper week can eat crow.

I don't know what is more off-putting.. Sam Long's nipples or Lionel's run form.

Where's that forum awards thread? This is pure gold.

This is absolute carnage.

Schoeman and Luis (already taken penalty) running pretty well here. Let's see if they can keep it up.

Sam Long and Lionel Sanders are moving up. 6th and 9th and running faster than a lot of people in front of them.
