I was experiencing this as well. I knew I received an email that had "circ drive" in it, but searching Gmail showed nothing with "circ drive". So I Goggled it.

If you are using the Gmail Inbox, and maybe in regular Gmail, you have to TELL IT to include the Trash or Spam folders. In Google Inbox you type "slowman in:trash" or "slowman in:spam". Two showed up with those parameters.

Dan, I should get an extra discount for troubleshooting this!

I get the newsletter in my inbox. I had to search my junk and spam folder for “Dan Empfield” to locate the circ email. I use Hotmail for what it’s worth.
