What's always fun to watch is these guys for 10K splits. They absolutely hammer the first part of the run and then whoever fades the least wins.

The biggest mistakes these guys can make are in the first 5k. That is pretty fast to open up with. Too fast maybe? But everyone in the top 10 is eating into his lead, well except Lieto I believe.
