That's true, but Cam has never had a good run in Kona by his own admission, so hey you never know what could happen, there's a hell of a long way to go.

you are underestimating the benefits of pack riding the whole bike. stadler has been working on his own almost the whole way and there has been an enormous pack within 5-10 seconds for almost the whole bike. if he can put together a 2:55 run, it's his but there will be some rested legs chasing him.

Normann is not that bad a runner and the rest of that "pack" is not good enough to catch him, all things being equal, if Normann runs decently.

Now if a Macca can put together a sub-2:40 on what might be some very favorable conditions, all bets are off. Sprint finish?
