Ha! I don't. But, I do have this one from IMMoo 2006, my first Ironman, as I walk from the Monona Terrace down to the swim start. I call this "The Walk." (Sorry for the poor quality).

Yep. But, I am doing it after IMLP, which is my A+ race, so, we will have to see how much is left in the tank ...

By the way, the weather for IMMoo is a crap shoot. 2006 was horrible! 2007 was nearly perfect! Here is the swim start for 2006 and 2007:

2007 was indeed great, I was handing out bikes in the morning and catching them all afternoon. As a matter of fact, recognizing your picture reminded me that your bike seat was really awful, thank god for rubber gloves.

I was at LA that year and, really, the waves are more impressive online than they were in person. I'm a horrible swimmer and am even worse in getting past the waves, but I didn't have a huge problem that day. You had to dive through about two big waves and ten you were golden.

IMMOO 06 was my first IM as well. What a miserable day. I still shiver thinking about it! Last year was absolutely awesome wasn't it? I'm super lucky to have had one of my good friends there to take over 300 pictures of 2007 for me, I get super excited everytime I look at them. I'll be in Madison as a spectator this year and i'll be taking the photographs this year.

I was a volunteer last year......Doing my 1st this year. When I get my race number I'll let you know. That way you can keep an eye out for me and shout out some encouragement......something like HTFU !

When you checked in for IMMoo 2007, did you have any of the volunteers express surprise that you were back? When I told them that 2006 was my first IM, a number of them said, "oh my, and you came back for more!" When I explained that I had "unfinished business" on the course, they all responded with some form of "good for you!" I thought it was pretty cool.

Yes, 2007 certainly had dream weather conditions.

my trick was to run backwards down those hills to save the quads....I don't know if it worked or not. I missed my b goal by a minute. It was my first real run after TTT!
