I love pictures from Kid's Triathlons. In fact, i've always wondered how we could expand the one in that we have in Ann Arbor, MI. The kids always give everything they've got and they're so competitive (especially the boys that try so hard not to get destroyed by some of the girls)...love it!

The photo of Dave Scott battling it out with Mark Allen at Kona is the most famous photograph in this sport(in my mind).

It had such a presence when it come out on the front of the magazine covers all those years ago. I still can't help notice how lean those guys were.

The fact they put their lightest running gear on also makes a difference from today. It makes them look even more athletic(to me), somehow.

Cameron Brown is starting to take on a resembence to these guys physique wise but he isn't quite so tall. He is in pretty dominant form at present.

Does anyone else know of a more famous moment in ironman than that of Mark Allen and Dave Scott racing stride for stride in the run? If so am interested know.
was already right into triathlon when seeing that image for the first time and it just stamped an imprint in my mind. Yes I will have to get to the Kona ironman someday!!

talking about cool pictures, would anyone have a pic of that poster or would know where to find it? Its not on the powerbar nor peter's websites.

It basically shows a front face shot of peter on the aero position on the bike, and there is phrase that reads something like "people wonder what do we look at for 6 hours on the bike.... we look inside" or something like that, its a pretty cool poster. If anyone could post an image or tell me where can I find it, It would be awesome...

My 2 1/2 year old son leading me across the finish line at Longhorn 1/2 IM.

She's an actress. Been in several movies including Joe Dirt, Broken Lizards Club Dread to name a couple. She definitely has an athletes body.
