I did BRAG one year w the wife unit and we started from the Chickamauga Battlefield National Park. That year we rode across the top of GA and then down the east side (thru Athens) to Savannah.

I ride my moto up in N GA to go throw flies at trouts---and just to ride those mountain roads.

Beautiful

Do I need to bring my gun if I come there to ride?

Not necessary for the ride, we might see a bear and coyote but they don’t mess with riders.

Do you have wild boar? Those look scary.

Yes we do , on the MTB trails haven’t seen any they seem to closer to farms?
On hikes I seen signs of them , that’s why I carry.

I live in her (Bobberts) district and I can’t believe she won either. It’s mind boggling.

Word on Twitter is that her mother was present for the tour on the 5th and was involved in the insurrection...no link provided as it is just a rumor at this point...

I’ve seen more bears (1), wild boar (2), and coyotes (a lot) in my yard than I have ever seen on the NoGA trails, thankfully. Recently we’ve had multiple sightings of a bobcat. Maybe I should stop feeding them. I did see the largest rattlesnake I’ve ever seen in my life during Fool’s Gold one year. Just passed through the Bull parking lot back into the single track on top of the hill and the rider in front of me slammed on his brakes. A super fat 3-4 footer stretched across the trail, but since I don’t like snakes I remember it being more like 10ft. Fried nerves the rest of the day.

Having spent enough time in southern Appalachia and the Rockies to see it firsthand, I can say without a doubt the more ardent rednecks live in Colorado.

Shouldn’t the republicans be giving Sasse mad props for being plain spoken and just telling it like it is?

Why do you so unjustly disparage wombats?

Wombats, snakes, spiders, cockroaches all perform valuable roles in the ecosystem.

While there's an interesting discussion to be had on that point (I actually agree with you in general, though), I'd still contend that there's not much that's loveable about snakes. Personally, I'm with Indiana Jones as far as that is concerned :-)

I'll just counter that with another wombat clip. (Of which, one can never watch too many! :-) )

There's two types of people in the world.

Those who love snakes, and those who are yet to spend enough time with them. ;-)

I gotta agree, snakes are pretty cool.

Maybe not as great as kittens, but still pretty good.
