Let me be the next person to pile on you for this but AOC is nowhere near as far left as MTG is far right. Not even remotely close to "counter balancing." MTG is a 10 pound weight and AOC is a five pound weight on the seesaw. They don't balance.

She didn’t like what the government was doing. She actually researched what it takes to run for office and went back and got her GED and won a National election.

Yeah she played by the rules to get in, but once in she doesn't want to play by the rules.

I mean if anyone who voted for her didn’t see that coming from her prior record they should have their eyes examined.

They elected her. It was pretty obvious who she was. It’s not like she misrepresented herself in any way. Nobody had a reason to believe she was going to update to Anne Taylor hill wardrobe when she showed up and mind her manners.

She ran on who she was and that’s what the voters wanted. Your beef should be with the voters if you have one- not her IMO.

...sigh...I give up.

For the 12th time perhaps now............there is NOT a balance when one is where you disagree with actual policy and the other is conspiracy theory bullshit.

Zero equivalence. ZERO.

You might as well tell us Obama's policies made you angry enough to attempt the most impotent coup in history.

I agree she represents her constituents as from what I have read they are very big 2A voters. That is fine and expected. What I am complaining about is not her politics it is that she doesn't follow the rules. I don't walk into her bar and complain that people are open carrying, that is allowed. Just like she shouldn't take a gun onto the House floor since it isn't allowed. Another "rules are good if I agree with them" type IMO and a grandstander.

Your post comes off as a desperate attempt to deflect from the fact that the current version of the GOP is filled with unhinged wackos.

I am not a fan of AOC but the policies she advocates for are the norm in most of western Europe. This crazy lady from Georgia just spews lies and conspiracy theories.

The key is, she advocates actual policies. Things you can disagree with or call goofily impractical, and many of them I do. How do you disagree with Q conspiracies? What do I have to do to counter Democrats are pedophiles eating babies? What points will win the day?

I'm beginning to think that we are much more fucked than I thought.

Just saw a chart where AOC, who is absolutely killing it and knows exactly how the game is played by the way, is a centrist. and it checks out.

According to govtrack.us, Barbara Lee is the most liberal (or least conservative) representative. Mark Meadows is the most conservative.
Kurt Schrader (D-OR) and Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) are the median. But the average is Cynthia Axne (D-ID), who is the 201st most conservative rep, but according to govtrack she sponsors bills and resolutions that are halfway between Meadows and Lee.

Cortez is 421. Tlaib is 428. Omar is 429. Pressley is 433rd. My personal rep, McGovern, is 418th.

Their scale for Senators ranges from Blackburn the most conservatives to the VP. Kamala is more liberal in bills sponsored than Bernie. Markey is also more liberal than Warren.
Murkowski is the average, but 56th most conservative, while Doug Jones was the median.

Can a fair weather mountain biker really call themselves a mountain biker? I’ve done it where my camelback hose is frozen by the top of the first climb and also wearing the lightest thing I can find. Done it where I had to replace nearly every pivot point after the race. First weekends in Jan/Feb/Mar is always a crapshoot. Also done Fool’s Gold several times and those trails are relatively tame imo. Was a bit behind a guy who dislocated his hip coming down Bull. Pretty sure that caused Eddie to give up the race and Lisa took it over. Pure gravel grinding isn’t my thing. They are the conduit to get between single track trails. GL at Cross!

She's gonna have a hard time getting that out of committee.

Or rather a hard time getting that assigned *to* a committee.

I envision Pelosi giving her a big, fake plastic shit-eating "smile" and pointing where Rep. Greene can leave the bill for her to "review."

Best up your game. Equivalencies: both female, both somewhat youngish, both can summon up a camera and microphone without too much effort. Good on you to throw in craycray at least. Do folks in NE and N central Georgia look to this NW corner as Deliverance mountain rural Appalachia and she as is good as it gets?

Not necessary for the ride, we might see a bear and coyote but they don’t mess with riders.

My game is as good as it gets, I don’t have the keyboard skills as most of the LR kids.
My opinion NW ga up along I -75 Rome & Dalton and butts up to Chattanooga is a little different than NE ga., don’t really know why.
NE Ga is a little more connected to the lower southern end of Appalachia.
With the poorer folks there is a fair amount high end lake & Mtn communities.
