Only conference champions belong in CFP. tOSU fan and if they lose they are out IMO. One team from a conference. Why play the regular season if it doesn't matter? Want different rules take that BS to the NFL.

I apologize in advance for the things that will be done to Wisconsin (again) next weekend.

And hey look, Harbaugh is still a whiny little bitch.

Counting chickens before hatched? Stranger things have happened. So if the Badgers win, does the conference champion go to the playoffs or the Rose Bowl?

Ehh, I've said the same thing a couple times this season. Sooner or later it will come back to bite me, I just don't think this weekend is it. And always fun to needle the bandwagoning Purdue grad.

I don't think Wisconsin gets in if they win. Head to head is even then and OSU only has one loss. And OSU brings better ratings (I know that shouldn't matter but I'm not naive).

I think both LSU and OSU, and maybe Clemson but they are iffier, get in even if they lose this weekend as long as it isn't a disaster.

The real question is if all the favorites win, who gets in, 2 loss Georgia, 1 loss Utah, or 1 loss Oklahoma?

Somehow in future iterations, conference champions need to be included into the series. But i do agree with Wisconsin being denied as the 2 loss champion. Favorites all win, then my vote goes to Utah. I can see Utah winning it all.

Living in Austin I was wondering how he even found a head coaching job. I think he contributed to Mack Brown's exodus from texas university.

I flipped to this game and thought that it would be good since the score was 17-17 in the second quarter. Since I started watching it, they've score 3 points. Oh well.

So you're a big 12 fan where defense is frowned upon?

I was reading an article on ESPN about the four QB’s in the playoffs. It’s interesting that only one of them is still at the school they originally committed to/attended

Burrow: from Ohio State to LSU
Hurts: from Alabama to Oklahoma
Fields: from Georgia to Ohio State
Lawrence: just Clemson

Penn State Memphis will either be a good game nor a blow out

Expect ND to destroy the cyclones.

I don't really think this will be much of a game. I typically don't like comparing like teams, but PSU played OSU pretty tough for a half of football. OSU blew out Cincinnati, a team Memphis hardly beat twice at home. In fact, they should have lost the first game but Cincinnati blew it.

So far a good game

In other news, the Evil Sports Programming Network continues its tradition of being the Martin Shkreli of cable networks.

◼︎ We shall soon be in a world in which a man may be howled down for saying that two and two make four, in which people will persecute the heresy of calling a triangle a three-sided figure, and hang a man for maddening a mob with the news that grass is green. - Chesterton

yeah

cause Florida, Auburn, Alabama, and Georgia are all lightweight gimmie games--and yet LSU ran the table.

'first real game' *snort*
