Holly Lawrence is on fire after being out with injury last year. Will she eventually move up to Ironman and if she does how will she do in Kona.
Not really sure why anyone would want to move up to Kona if they didn't have to. Ironman is brutal when you have to race it and the number of paydays is limited. I jogged with her last year in Kona and we talked about it. Didn't sound like there was any interest to make the jump.
I also agree with thomas.
Too many professionals that are great at 70.3 move to Ironman. Earn less prize money, if any, and disappear.
Luke Bell was an awesome 70.3 racer but kept going to Ironman (Still does) and performs like crap.
Have a look at Crowie in his twilight. He is doing about 8-12 70.3's each year and winning most of them. Making some nice cash. If he went back to Kona, he would be lucky to come top 10 and earn $500.
