I need to vent a little bit about some of the bullshit I have been dealing with on ebay.
So, I listed a set of HED3s tubies. Front was normal, rear is a H3Deep. Rear has literally been used 1x, at Cozumel. The only reason I even own the wheel is because you cannot ride disk at Cozumel and I run disk in all other races. So I rode it 1x and it has sat in my closet ever since. Both wheels have like new $125 contis on them. The rear literally still has the little rubbery things from new tires. Additionally, both wheels have full ceramic bearings, at a COST was $600. Buyer pays $600 for the set. I charge $15 for shipping and have them packed up very nicely with wheel boxes and fedex at a cost to me of $135. Expensive, I know. I am getting killed all around on the deal and the buyer is getting an incredible deal in my opinion.
Soooo. Buyer gets them and then demands a return, accusing me of misrepresentation because the rear has "thousands of miles" on it. Also, he apparently is not familiar with the "deep" model and accuses me of selling him a repaired wheel with an aftermarket flange that has been glued on. Honestly, I am bummed out as I really felt that I was giving the buyer a tremendous deal and treating him exactly the way I would like to be treated. Since it is ebay, sellers never win and I have no other option but to pay shipping back to me and issue him a refund. I would not be so pissed about this if not for the expense of shipping. Ebay sucks.
Anyone else deal with ebay and shitty buyers? Do I have any other options?
