I am going to guess that it's a large portable box that one like Lil Kim would use to carry all his "shit" in with when traveling.

It's an outdoor outhouse, if that isn't overly redundant. A hole in the ground with a wooden box toilet set up over it, no walls or roof. Makes a good boom/thunder when you shut the lid, plus the witty double entendre of a thunderous bowel movement.

At least that's what it was when I was in Boy Scouts.
