You're lucky you threw in the towel, I was going to resort to a luckytotri reference.

Any handwriting experts in the house? I want to find out if this guy is really as psycho as he looks!

Me? Nah, not psycho. I can't even bring myself to kill mice caught in my attic. Live release them into a park nearby.

For the record, that isn't milk. It's a kettle. Our milk doesn't come in jugs in Ontario. We buy bagged milk.

How do you save a gif. like that? Every time I try to save one of those on my computer for use later, the file contains only one frame.

Yes, I am a luddite.

If you are a Canuck that engages in gratuitous bashing of the US, you are probably on my Iggy List. So, save your self a bunch of typing a response unless you also feel the need to gratuitously bash me. If so, have fun.

You're opening it with the wrong program. Open the .gif with Internet Explorer.

Hmmm. Tried to right click and use Copy, but that didn't work. The options to Open Link, Open Link in New Tab, etc. are not selectable (grayed out). I am doing something wrong, but I don't have a clue what it is. Is there a setting somewhere in my browser that keeps me from saving .gifs?

I am out to lunch. When I get back I will explain. You don't need a Mac to save or view .gifs.

Ugh, IE is the worst browser ever. There is a known error where IE won't save the file as a gif, only a bmp.

Do you have Chrome? If no, get Chrome.

In Chrome, right click on the gif and choose save image as...

Save it to your desktop.

Once you have the file saved right click on it and choose open with...

Open it with Internet Explorer. You could choose chrome as well to open it but IE should be one of the options listed and opening it with chrome takes more explanation than I care to give.

The egg, clearly. Chicken evolved from earlier bird species, which also laid eggs. So eggs where there before chicken, that much is quite clear. Now another (unsolveable) problem is where exactly do you place the line of demarcation between chicken and ancestors of chicken? Since the changes in the traits that would finally define chicken as we know them today occurred gradually, you can't point to a specific individual somewhere along the time line and say "this is the first chicken, and its parents where not yet chicken".
