I'm not sure. How about you give us a prediction and then based on the evidence of every recent right wing prediction, we'll just assume that its completely wrong.

That's ok, we have the military and most of the guns. So all the things we want that you have, we will just take. Oh by the way, you can have Canada too. That way we don't need to defend them anymore. The little tiny neighbor to the north is all yours.

First off, don't you realize it's the makers (i.e., drug dealers) shooting the takers (i.e., drug addicts) committing the crimes. They have to be GOP. ;-)

Secondly, this lack of self-awareness by conservatives is bad enough, I forgot that we need to add "no sense of humor" to the list.

On a more serious note… The day you (plural) realize the problems in this country are the making of both sides is the day you finally establish a level of credibility where you deserve to be treated with respect. The Right's reaction to this election is telling. The willingness to self destruct over "let's accept these results, move on, and work together to address this nation's problems" is a 100% reflection of the true lack of character that lives inside so many of you. The answer to your problems is simple: Look in the mirror and focus on what positive and constructive actions you can execute on to make a difference in this country.

I'm beginning to realize why so many of you conservatives on LR are just average triathletes at best. The attitude you bring to politics is apparently the same attitude you bring to everything else in your lives.

Not sure how to take what is quoted above, and what it has to do with your original red/blue state theory which is totally debunked by the red/blue county analysis that I posted....

Do you really think your race results are so good that you can be this condescending? I just athlinked you and I'm not impressed. We happen to be in the same age group and based on all of your 70.3 races you would be behind me and your 2010 Kona finish which we actually raced together you finished behind me :-) So your next theory has been thoroughly debunked as well....You're having a bad day :-)

Maybe Obama can find a way to "redistribute" a few minutes from my race results and give them to you...After all...isn't it really all about equality and fairness? it's just not fair that you finished behind me!!! I should be forced to pay my fair share and give those minutes to you.....Sound like a good plan?

Hmmm, i think we have most of the oil and almost all of the guns. We'll just conquer your ass - take what we want, and burn the place down General Sherman style . You bunch of pansies aren't into violence so it won't be much of a fight. Now unfortunately, you probably have most of the lesbians and gays. So we'll have to go abroad to get some basic girl on girl action and I've never been able to find a straight tailor who is worth a damn so my wardrobe may suffer. I guess we get most of the beef and grain, so we'll eat well. And you can take your overpriced Napa cabs as I'll drink Shiner Bock.

Completely illogical. Everybody who posts in the LR is slower than they would be if they did not waste their time here.

You need to do your homework on this issue! Your logic is flawed!
The correct way to do the "Red/Blue" analysis is county by county...rather than state by state...larger urban areas in the Northeast and coastal states skews the data to make the country look very "Blue".... Here is the county by county from 2012 to show what I mean http://fairlyconservative.com/.../county-map-2012.jpg

But back to your point....Imagine the country was divided in half down the middle which it pretty much is, based on the popular vote..... Romney supporters got to live under his presidency/regulations/companies/laws/tax code/fiscal policy on one side--Obama supporters on the other. How long before the Obama side collapsed?

Given that the blue states subsidise the red states, through excess federal taxes paid over outlays received, I'm guessing it is the Romney side that will be doing the collapsing.

With the Red States you will have to cope with 88% of all the obese Americans

You get Wisconsin and Illinois...have you been to either of these states, they have to have at least 50% of the fatties by themselves ;-)

Ken, you have to look at the Red/Blue analysis county by county or better yet town by town to see which way the money is flowing....
Perfect example of this would be the "Abbott districts" here in NJ...the money is flowing from the red districts to the blue districts.....not the other way around!

And then in our little fantasy world, you'd have to take into account where people live vs. where they work in whatever it is we're suppose to be figuring out. I'd bet there are whole lot of professionals who live in red counties or towns but work in blue counties or towns, etc.?

You are not making sense!!!
The whole thread is based on where you LIVE because that is where you vote!!! Where one works has nothing to do with turning a town/county/state "red or blue" you cannot vote where you don't live

The whole thread makes no sense since it was originally predicated on dividing the country by states based on red/blue which is the only division that would make any geographical sense if we were actually going to divide the country up.

Where the money is "flowing" would certainly change if a bunch of red folks couldn't get to their jobs in the blue folks territory :)

Totally agree with you!!!!! the whole premise of the original post by lakerfan if broken down and looked at logically was ridiculous !!!! The sad part is people actually believe the nonsense he posted, I guess it makes them feel better about themselves, maybe makes them feel morally superior?? it's all very strange

There are not really Red and Blue states. Really there are Red and Blue counties, and even further Red and Blue precincts. So for the most part you get the Dems get the big/medium cities and pubs get everthing else. Good luck finding anything to eat in your cities.

Your reply doesn't really make sense; all JDRUN was pointing out is that the split is not really along red states and blue states, but is really red counties and blue counties. It appears that we are really split between dense urban and rural / suburban counties or precincts. Going state by state is really not granular enough to do a real analysis of the vote.

What you get is the boot on your neck.

What I get is prosperity and freedom.

When I moved my ass out here to AZ, every friend of mine in SoCal was jealous. Totally jealous.

The shit I get away with out here is monumental.......but it is completely within my rights as a citizen of Arizona.

Notice that you use the operative term "We" and I say "I"

And I think "we" ought to be able to get together just like Rev MLK said "we" should be able to do.

Your post pisses me off as much as upside down American Flags and it is just as wrong.

I brought it up because I was trying to get a rise out of conservatives. Obviously it worked. Sorry my 6x Kona qualifications didn't impress you though. 2010 Kona was actually a good race for me because I was able to complete the run with a severely strained soleus which happened right after IMC.
