Never been an Orbea fan, but damn thats a sick looking bike!

Looks like it's damn near invisible to the wind.

it does? after i counted all the bottle cages, bento boxes, co2 cartridges and spare tube straps and stuff....... all i see is a clean frame that is covered in a tarp.

every 10miles there is an aid station......... and in training just stick and extra bottle or two in your jersey pocket if you need to. one maybe two cages needed.

I agree, it needs some work. I've been contemplating getting rid of the rear-mounted system and just using the down tube and aerobar cages for races, but I really just don't like the feel of the bottle between my arms.

I think it's been shown that the fuel box behind the stem is beneficial to aerodynamics.

the bento box being faster is news to me......... i'd be intersted in finding more about that.

is the bottle between your arms rubbing on you? how is the 'feel' not 'likeable'?

I'll have to dig for the fuel box aero benefit stuff after I get back from mowing the lawn, but if I recall, it's that the box acts as a fairing. In any case, it holds my crack pipe, tools and a little bit of fuel.

As far as the feel goes, I tend to roll my forearms inward, so that the broad part is facing up. The bottle makes me have to roll them out, which I feel takes some of my comfort away.

Your fork looks like it is on backwards. What make is it if it isn't?

My older Manitou has the arch behind instead of in front; this could be another one, just a different model. You can tell it's not really backwards since the axle/dropouts are in front where they're supposed to be. No front brake, though?

Yup, it's a manitou 'Black' with the support at the back.
Specific for 24" wheel and super stiff for dirt jumping.

Ah yes, the drop outs are to the front. Having the arch at the back of the fork just looks wierd IMO.

Hello, here´s my circa 1999 Softride Roadwing.

Same here, a work in progress . . .I've cut the steerer tube, and shortened all the cables since this pic, but . . .

Here's a pic (bad lighting sry) of my Roadie, in my Hurt Locker ! I usually have my bike in the trainer pointed at the Mac for workouts, then hop off directly off, and on to the treadmill! Oh and no I don't use the zipps on the trainer lol. I've been working on my setup (bottles, computer, position etc today). Hence all the rubber bands etc.

You should probably watch the video on how to se your adamo up, because that is not correct, the top of the saddle should not be level, the rails should be level or even tilted down.

I've actually ridden that saddle for about 2 years, and have loved it. However, my fitter (I was not impressed) did that. I hadn't quite honed in to that being a problem yet (but it is). I've only ridden it on the trainer so far. I'll adjust the angle for my ride tomorrow, thanks! I live in Mississippi, and FIST fitters are uh.... not so abundant in these parts. I'm willing to drive if anyone has a top level recommendation (Tenn, Alab., Ark?)

Its a great saddle if its dialed in correctly, if not it can cause as much if not more agony than other saddles.

What does your collection look like NOW holy awesome batman.

Current stable is as follows.

Custom English Steel Build - 13.5 lbs as pictured 12.96 lbs currently has the Zipp cranks but American Classic Sprint 350s on it.

Cervelo SLC Build - 13.3 lbs but has FSA carbon cranks with full carbon aero rings. Will also have Hed Clip-Lites on full time.


Giant TCR Zero 1 X 10 Build - 13.5 lbs Sram Force with left shifter gutted.

Pedal Force MT - 18.4 lbs. Upgraded to Sram XX

Specialized SS MTB - 28 lbs.
