dating this girl since june, all has been great. when we first started going out she was concerned that dating was going to get in the way of her training, not tri, v-ball. i told her not a prob, play all ya want, i'll watch ya, i'll ride or swim then come watch ya, do what ya need won't bother me. i think she's been surprised how supportive i've been. come to her games when i'm in town, watch her practice, tell her to go ahead and practice, we'll go eat after you're done.
so this last week she decides to take up a vegan diet. we both ate pretty crappy the last week so we're both being a good boy and girl. granted, this is only a week into her diet but it really got me to thinking. has anyone decided that this ''lifestyle'' was one that you could not, would not, won't, don't wanna live with with a significant other?
of course i'm all for a healthy lifestyle but once in a while i want to get a pizza. or stop in and grab some ice cream. is it awkward going to peoples house for dinner? is it shallow to even be wondering this? i don't think so, because to me it is a lifestyle. if i met someone and right away they said they were vegan i prob wouldn't pursue it, i already know you won't be splitting that crab cake appetizer with me, and that's fine, have a great life.
she said she doesn't know how long she's going to be on it so it may be a non-issue. just curious how others have crossed this river.
cheers, i'm gonna go get some ice cream.
