You’re missing picks for Jets-Bills and Panthers-Seahawks.

I mean technically speaking. Not a mystery who you’d pick in either game.

Bucs at NINERS. --> Might change that one later without Garopollo but the Bucs suck unless there is 3min left.

I think this will be an interesting one. I can see why no one else above has picked the Niners when you have Brady facing off against the rookie Mr Irrelevant. But the Niners still have the best defense in football, the best offensive lineman in the NFL protecting the blind side, and a set of playmakers as good as any other team in the league. And the Bucs are coming off a short week and a last minute win

Though this could all just be me refusing to acknowledge the truth that the Super Bowl hopes are dwindling now with out QB1 and QB2 out for the year

Missing Wirfs is a big loss for the Bucs and the O-Line so not sure how well they can protect Brady against Bosa.
But I do predict that the Bucs will run Fournette on first down and 3rd down, in the middle for 1/2y until the 4th... eye roll.

Mayfield to the Rams. Probably not a bad move by the Rams. Wolford is miserable. Stafford is out for the season and has really dropped off so who knows how much left he has. Might as well take a 1.4 million flyer and see if Baker fits in with the coach and team for a possible option in the future behind Stafford. Too bad they don’t have any games left against Kingsberry and the Cards.

Hmm no his production is about normal, when he doesn't have like 6 Hall of fame players on the offense and 3 more on Defense. Brad Holmes orchestrated another great trade. Could LA have won the superbowl with Goff? who knows, but the price for 1 ring, is looking really really steep.

ANd you are still going with the 49ers and (insert QB here) to beat Tom Brady?!? WHat happened to the Brady magic he has left?

Totally having fun with you as I have no idea at this game. Until last week my picks have stunk this season. Best of luck with your picks man!

I was impressed with him on several drives earlier in the game and he made some great passes. Given that he showed up two days before the game, even moreso.

So the Raiders have lost to a coach that worked for ESPN a week prior and a QB who showed up 48 prior, maybe Josh McDaniels sucks as a HC?

Normally I'd be on the he sucks bandwagon, but the Raiders beat Seattle, in Seattle last week. If OT no less.

I'm not sure, I kinda like Mayfield even when he was flipping off my Jayhawks in Lawrence. His best moment however was planting the OU flag in the middle of Ohio State's field his senior year.

Baker has some real winnable games left on the Rams schedule

12/19 @ Packers
12/25 Broncos @ home
1/1 @ Chargers, but it's really a de facto home game
1/2 @ Seahawks, ok he'll lose this one, it my homer pick after all.

Say he wins 3-4 out of his 5 games, he'll definitely get some looks from the NFL. Indy maybe??

Probably shouldn't use a mediocre Seattle team as a litmus test, could make a good argument that McDaniels has as much or more talent in every game they've played this year except against KC.

Possibly. It depends on where he signs. Maybe he stays in LA and waits a couple years until Stafford retires? Or goes to one of the teams which will be looking for a QB this off-season that are less dysfunctional than the panthers. But he will again at some point in time in the next couple years. He’s not flaming out to the XFL anytime soon.

Despite the fun storyline it would be I don’t actually believe the Steelers would give him a look. That being said, their current QB situation looked atrocious today

While this is true, Denver's D looked lost in the first half until Josey's interception. I thought yesterday felt like the 'dam finally breaking' in the 1st half.

I know everyone wants Hackett gone (probably the right thing), but it's pretty impressive how much the team still seems to want to play hard for him at this point. Was fun to watch the offense actually click a bit yesterday...finally. Not sure it'll last the rest of the season though. 😂

Swede had the rams. Yep mayfield was impressive on that final drive.

Probably shouldn't use a mediocre Seattle team as a litmus test, could make a good argument that McDaniels has as much or more talent in every game they've played this year except against KC.

Seattle did not look very good against Sam Darnold and the Panthers yesterday. McDaniels has underperformed this season.

Do the Panthers win the NFC South?

Edit to add. The Seahawks suck, they are 0-4 against the NFC South that doesn’t have 1 team above .500

Definitely was fun watching the Broncos making a game of it finally. Pure speculation here but they might've pulled it out had RW not been knocked into next Tuesday and entered the concussion protocol.

As always, the problem with Seattle is the defense. They gave Carolina their best scoring half of the season--color me not surprised. Even with Geno's two uncharacteristic picks (his TD/Int ratio is 25-8) and 10th string running backs, their offense still looked pretty good scoring 24. You just can't give up 30 and expect to win many games.

The Chiefs continue to look great for a bit. Then they get complacent and let teams back into the game. Their defensive secondary needs a ton of work. Unless they fix a few things very quickly I see them losing out in the playoffs again.

Yes - not sure what the hell is wrong with them. The DBs need more practice/less talking. I hope they aren't thinking yesterday and the next few weeks are easy games.

Manning brothers killing it interviewing Adam Vinatieri on tonight's Manning cast. Footage of him running down Hershel Walker is classic!

That's some closing speed for a kicker.

Someone shared her stuff earlier in the year. Probably a worthwhile posting to wrap up each week. Her humor takes the sting of some bad losses/picks.

I'd considered leading off the new weekly thread with her summary when I posted the last one. Good suggestion.

Week 15 posting shortly.

I embrace this as a "Best Practice"

As an aside - who saw the fight in the stands at the Coyotes/Bruins game, and thought the girl in the Gronk jersey who got fucking clocked [but hopped back up] was Katie Nolan?

Just me? OK
