I didn't even get a pick in for week one, so I don't think I survived. Work got in the way, never got a chance to get on here. Oh well, I can still participate in the discussions.

I think every season needs to have weather like what they are experiencing. That is TRUE survivor, cold, hungry, miserable, no break from the elements, forced to hide out in the shelter with no break from the annoying tribe-mates. That should help it get real good real quick. Its harder to "play a part" when in that situation, its more likely that everyones true personalities will show faster.

A bit of spoiler alert, saw an article about episode 1 and what happened they mentioned the weather this year is the worst ever 2 hurricanes/typhoons came through. Jeff was talking about how the crew would stay up all night watching the storms trying to decide if they need to get the contestants to safety.

Yeah, could be a good one. Week two will be a little like week one certainly not going in completely blind but in that we didn't see the David Tribe dynamic in voting someone off... conventional wisdom would have Goliath winning the next immunity but you know how that goes in Survivor. Going to have to ponder my week two pick for a little while yet.

Week 4 Summary ---

Some pre-show drama with more rumblings about Cheater and move to make it more equal so he picks to this week, A risky week to do it with a tribal shuffle to come.

DaveC makes a bold pic choosing someone who had an injury at the end of Episode 3 ---- Well in the opening moments that bite him and out he goes. Since Bi was Coe's week 2 pic he jumped into the lead.

A tribal change now 3 tribes, and David's are down in numbers in all of them. As most had picked Goliath's it was looking most might be safe. Natalie Cole started annoying her tribe mates and looked to be in trouble (never cheered so hard for an immunity challenge) But in a come from behind (and then almost lost it) the purple tribe took second and was safe. At that point it seemed we were all ok with the possibility of several of us getting some separation if Elizabeth got voted out. Then the rumors the backstabbing ... and Cheater gets knocked out in a blindside. Executed so well the 2 on the outs didn't even vote for the same target.

So we lost 1.5 players the Creator (DaveC) and Cheater.

Coe takes a slight lead with having one of his older picks voted out.

For next week, Natalie could still be in trouble, Kara for the orange tribe would appear to be in trouble. But could she talk the 3 davids into a Hey Alec is now a threat, having pulled off that blind side??? And I have no feel on green other than a David (Gabby, or Christian)

Well thats all I got for a week 4 summary / week 5 teaser.

Oh wait a new hidden idol was brought into the game the Immunity neutralizer could be an interesting power piece in the right situation.. shall be interesting to see how that plays out.

Correction: I am not the creator. Can’t remember who started this survivor survivor but I only picked up the pieces when the creator disappeared from ST.

At least it was quick. I thought an mma fighter would tough it out.

Love the three tribes. Breaks up alliances quicker than two tribes.

Not sure about the immunity neutralizer. Whoever holds it has to know beforehand who has an idol or just make a blind guess. Hope it has an impact because that would be epic but I don’t see it happening.

The Neutralizer, also can make a stressful tribal much more lax. If it lasts till like 6 or 7 and your tribe is going to vote xx but your thinking they might have an idol, no need to split a vote, vote xx and play the neutralizer. Even if they don't have the idol, you get the person out that keeps your tribes numbers. But it would be great if that person thought they were safe and played an idol and got booted.

Well that was a fun episode. With Natalie's departure we have a 3 way tie for first Dav, Coe, and Ali all have had one pick eliminated. Boy we all seem to be good at picking people who are staying in it.

Argh! I really was blind sided. A time or two before in previous games that a pick of mine was voted off I saw it coming as the episode unfolded. I had no clue on this one until his name popped up. They did edit it as to give no idea he was in the mix plus the bizarre double idol for other people play that ended up being the cause of him getting the boot. It was an unfortunate series of unlikely events.

Yes, I am out, so I am just trying to pick which player will be voted out as a way to stay involved.

Shoot! Crazy week and I totally forgot. I was planning to vote for Christian, not that that counts at this point.

Well lucky for you we started the I missed a week idol, so next week you have to pick 2.

(Since you already had picked Dan, you would not have been eliminated this week no matter who you picked)

I was looking at the spreadsheet. Its amazing how bad we all are. Very few of the people we have picked have been eliminated at all. Guess it goes to show we really have no clue whats going on.

I was wrong about the idol nullifier. It was played perfectly and had a huge impact on the game.

I liked how the Nullifier played out, but not sure I like the long term implications and the power it holds.

Alibawa or anyone. We have a double episode next week. Don't know what has been done in the past. I will suggest. We just pick 1 (Well 2 for you) because we don't have many options left.

Oh treat them as 2 episodes so if one persons get's kicked in the first episode and the other in the 2nd then the game was over after episode 1 that night so what happened next wouldn't matter. Boy did I explain that poorly.

Whoa you broke the curse of the double pick and survived for another week. Of course I think by the tie break rule of having not used my forgot a week card, If I pick Davie I win either way.

Good game.... It was pretty funny, soon as they had their loved ones meet and greet and Gabby saw Christian had a girlfriend she turned on him. lol. The way they edited it looked like Christian played the idol on last second gut instinct. I will be surprised if he makes it to the end. The other must realize he would be really hard to beat if he went to the final.

Yeah I think Christians days are numbered the 4 that went on reward I think are your final 4 but from a preview sounds like this get all tossed up as often happens at 7 but I'll go with Davie this week

That was a fun episode last night. I think it was the first time Nick made a wrong move, I like him to win overall so I hope it doesn't hurt him too badly.

Agree. Best episode of a mostly uninteresting season.

Nick now has the target on his back as he wasted his idol.

If he goes, who deserves to win? Angelina or Allison?

Angelina doesn't have a chance, she doesn't have the self-awareness to realize how she is perceived. Everyone is already tired of her going on about how she got rice for the tribe. She is terrible at challenges (has she won anything yet?) so it wasn't as selfless an act as she is playing it out to be. Her attempt at jury management with Elizabeth went over like a lead balloon and her attempts to connect with people (e.g. using military terminology with Dan) have backfired. I think everyone will want her in the final three with them so is a good chance she makes it that far.

Alison has a good shot if Nick doesn't make it to the final three. I think that would be a fun final tribal - her and Nick to duke it out intelligently and Angelina to provide comedy relief.

If any of the contenders could manage to get in the final three with Angelina and Mike they'll be laughing.

Angelina definitely deserves credit for her selfless act? I mean, every time she brings it up as a reason they should do something for her she tells them that she doesn't expect any recognition for it? She has a serious lack of self-awareness.

It was clear from last night that no one is driving the bus. It didn't appear there was a single person that knew how the votes were going to go.

I disagree, I think Mike is going to win it all. He just orchestrated the take out of Christian, (which by the way means I advance another week, but have no more pics :( )

That and winning one individual immunity is pretty much all he has on his resume. He is a screenwriter so should be able to come up with a good story to swing the votes. He could argue that staying under the radar is a valid strategy. It should be an interesting finale.

I was glad to see Angelina shut out on votes. But it was clear that she still has no self awareness. The fact you are a woman is NOT why no one liked you.

Yeah, glad Nick won. I had a feeling he would by the way the questioning went before the final vote. Knew Angelina had no shot... but usually that's how it ends up. If you have three people at the end and one of them clearly doesn't have a chance something went wrong with the game.
