no way dude... when i picked up the box that the fork came in, I seriously thought that it was empty... then on my first ride i wanted to test the bike... new fork has bit more absorbtion then the old fork... not scientific but the road that i test rode it on is ugly and staying in aero was possible on the new bike but not on the old
good luck with Wisconsin next year...
training and doing LC triathlon while in college is possible if you need any hints just PM me

nice paint job on the disk, no mistaking you when you come down the road with that on. Looks like a good choice of cars to lean it against as well, another Mustang, a 98?

Mike;
Actually it is a '97 Mustang GT Converible 5 speed. It is my wife's "play car"
What you cannot see behind the Mustang is my play car : 99 Torch Red 6 speed Corvette with a bike rack. Am usually not the fastest on the bike course but am competitive on the road!!

Are those Sweet Wings cranks? Very trick.
I'll post the winner, my Zipp 3001 later today.

The other, of course, involves orcs." John Rogers

Dude, the Tiphoon is sooo much schweeter than that Blade.
Re: Who has the hottest bike? [Pooks]
[ In reply to ]
Why? Both look like Titanium bikes to me. The blade "looks" more aero. It just doesn't seem like that much of a difference.
But to be honest, I have a very cool bike and I still drool over other bikes. (Just have to be realistic ($$$) about changing bikes).
BTW, should have ridden with us last Saturday - I was the one getting dropped. Taking a month off wasn't good for me ;)

Have you ever broken a set? That was my fear & I passed on a set a while back. I'm not exactly small. I have quite a few pairs of the old Magic Motorcycle cranks-I use them on my Mt. Bike, but after stripping out 2 left crank-arms, I've pretty much given up on them + the new DA/XTR match them in lightness.
Now the dude with the DA SRM--that was pretty friggen sweet.

Nice ride. I have the Martec version of the bike. Heavier but very comfortable. She's getting repainted right now.
