I got "what it takes" (the dvd, not motivation!) and triathlete mag subscription, some chocolates which are gone now and some smellies for the gym bag.

Just watching the dvd now, back to work in the morning.

You can steam pretty much any veg, mushrooms, carrots, zuchini, all greens, squash and steamed fish is pretty good too. Root veggies are too dense to steam really but sliced thinly...

A Castelli Aquila longsleeve jersey - a little too flashy for me, but will be nice on morning rides. A 'How to Relieve Stress' booklet with a blow-up stress relieving bat. A KT Tunstall CD (Black Horse and a Cherry Tree - love that song). A baseball mitt to play catch with my son. Two pairs of running socks. And best of all, my mom visiting from New Mexico. She's 80 and was stuck in her home for four days due to unplowed roads. She lives in a remote area near Jemez Springs in an adobe perched on a cliff with her only access a dirt road (that doesn't get plowed, but then again, she doesn't often get enough snow to necessitate plowing.)

For X-mas I got bike parts for a build I'm working on. Nothing less exciting than a bottom bracket in the stocking and brake calipers under the tree.

A wireless Sigma cycle computer with cadence and an ipod thingy that let's me listen to/charge my nano in the car. Pretty happy with both. Oh, and a new job. Very happy about that!

A Kurt Kinetic trainer, new cufflinks, a bottle of my favorite scotch and a pair of Riedel glasses to drink it from.

All in all a good haul!

I grabbed a lot of loot for Christmas..1.Cervelo Solist Dura-ace. 2. iPod portable docking system(that Rocks) 3. The movie Overcoming of the CSC bike team-very cool..Lots of Gift cards and clothes and the Beatles Unseen Archives book, I am a huge Beatles fan so this goes great with all the cool books and memorabilia that I have from my favorite group..My wife is great to me I wish sometimes I could get her something really cool for her, but what do you get the women who has everything?..I hope everyone had a great Christnas like I did..

Food Processor, Blender, Waffle Maker, Wine set (I like to cook, can you tell?), swimming suit, and more things to make me smell good than I could use in 5 years. Think the family is trying to tell me something?

Then we went out today for the sales and got some clothes. Then stopped at a LBS and got a pair of neoprene booties. Getting closer to being able to bike in the cold weather now!
