One of my clients is racing and they tell me the swim will be point to point - down stream....from my old kayaking days - stick to the middle of the river - it generally is fastest there.

From todays athlete briefing, it's the current plan but could of course change. Wetsuit legal & highly likely to stay that way.

Normal river flow is 476 cfs. Current flow is 29,500 cfs.

Expect some 70.3 swim records to be shattered.

Sounds like the swim just got cancelled (Facebook group). I'm not at the briefing so I can't confirm that 100% but I wouldn't be surprised.
