He's been doing that all day. Every aid, he'd grab a bottle, throw about 1/2 on him and toss it. It's called gamesmanship, Scott and Tinley used to do it to deny the other the use of them.

Jacobs put 45seconds into Marino in just under 2 miles (mile 7.4 to ~9.3)...so at the current rate of gain it's scheduled to go right down to the wire. Another Iron War?

I'm putting the over/under of him walking at 10:00.

No, Marino is tiring. He's going to start losing major time here soon, I give him another 2-4 miles before he blows.

I'm not a fan of Ironman Perform, so I can understand not being happy with having to take it.

Yeah he does seem to behaving like a complete dick. He's been moaning, throwing stuff at nearly every aid station.
