looks to me like a top-5 split thru 5k, only about 15sec behind the fastest split (which i think was crowie). anything can happen, but, he's on a good one so far.

Excellent. Top 10 would be a great finish. Even if I did dark horse him for a podium :p

When he came out of T2, he was what, ~ 20th? How far back from everyone? They just showed the top 10 through 5 miles, but nothing past that.

Riccitello now explaining his reasoned decision behind all the penalties.

that was the most obtuse explanation ever. and good reference.

(paraphrasing) "Yeah, it's complicated, so we passed out some penalties. How do my sunglasses look?".

I am expecting carnage among the top 15 guys so if Jordan runs well and holds it together the last 10k will see him jump up the rankings...IF all goes well..

Can you pee in the penalty box?

If no how could they stop you?

This could be a time saver.

ya i do not see a top 6th for jordan, but if he continues to hold this pace, he will pass about 10 or so guys. So he could get on the podium(prize money) if all goes well. It looks from the splits that he is running with paul amey right now too, so that could be some pacing help from a great runner..

Y'know, some people will say ST is useless. But THIS is the kind of thoughtful discussion that makes it all worthwhile.

Rinny is gonna be trouble.

Jacobs is gonna be trouble.

And for now, both Faris and Natascha get huge props. They're not supposed to be there. But they are.
