not that this is world beating, but, rapp just had the second fastest split during the last 22 mile segment, behind marino. so, i think he might be feeling pretty good. he's in about 20th, so, he's got a lot of ground to make up in order to get into the top-10.

We'll see how many ahead of him melt down.

Marino won't win, nobody named Marino has ever won a championship :p

Sweet if he put the iPhone on the powermeter mount and was just telling Siri what to do. Not likely, but fun to think about. :)

They said he was having a bad race, and right as they said that he took off the helmet and hurled it. Pretty pissed off from the look of it.

I shall address your points separately.... Marino won Ironman NZ in March so that shoots John's first point down & the current Miss NZ was from South Africa for Nick's point.

Also Nick - How do Australians find sheep in long grass? Very attractive thank you.

So, does MBE's penalty count against her bike split? She's supposed to serve after she gets off the bike. I can see it going either way.

Marino cadence is looking smooth, I'd like to see some of the other racers.

They have a lot of wasted space, you would think they could have a list of the top 5-10 racers on each side with their splits and how far down they are.

Just managed a 3 hour ride on the trainer watching the live feed. Longest trainer ride I've ever managed!

looks to me like a top-5 split thru 5k, only about 15sec behind the fastest split (which i think was crowie). anything can happen, but, he's on a good one so far.
